To be honest as good as Brad's story was Alex is my favorite protagonist of the Lisa games. This mod makes him so fleshed out as a man who was complacent as a garbage man after his life dream snapped in two until the garbage overtook him taking form as that island. After hitting rock bottom instead of folding like Brad did he becomes this humorous, kind encouraging person who wants to find something better in a world where it feels *pointless* to do so. He's older than most people and still he's more optimisitc than most younger people around him. But there's this bubbling frustration in him from this memory or others that makes him vulnerable to the franchise which can lead to him being recruited by force if enough people are killed. It's such an interesting dynamic

Oh you should play SOTWS It's an expansion mod for pointless that expand a lot including Alex's character.

@@fantastical674 I'm on my 5th/6th attempt at it I keep finding new things in it each time. Which reminds me I have a few requests for guides in the game 1. Where are all the signal emitters and what happens when they're all gone? 2. Salt Crab vs Geen optional dialogues 3. The hidden campfire cutscenes with those guys he encourages. Just because that was my fav scene of the whole game

yay i am 5 months late but yeah. his character development is something i really like too. it's one of the rare stories that takes a highschool bully, lets them genuinely change as a person and all that without ever justifying their behaviour. it's refreshing, he feels pretty real

Theres like a few changes everytime alex gets down like When alex does his pose for the first time he has a grin on his face but after he gets thrown down that grin is no more. Each time alex gets thrown down the music gets slower and slower until the music just decides to stop. And alex gets angrier in his dialogues

I recall seeing someone mentioned that Aikido makes for a particularly good counter against the aggression-focused Velvet-Fu, so while I really don't see Alex winning the tournament either way, he might've had a less miserable showing if he had anyone else as his first opponent.

Yeah, the reason the game is so hard in the first place is that it’s a made up martial art. His mom got it from a thrift store lol

@@realhumanbean7915 it's a fake martial art alex somehow repurposed and misrembered into something that works after the flash, it's not useless useless. it just isn't meant for fighting,its meant to look cool and sell tapes

They spoiler you in, to make you curious and click on it but dude, My thumbnail, well atleast this one in particular didn't show anything too spoilery I think it's perfect. It show Alex crying making viewers curious about why is he crying and click on it. At the end of the day Yes it's spoilery but I don't think it's too much of spoiler.

Que onda homero y pues... Hay una habilidad la cual es una patada en la ingle, y cuando la usas le haces daño real pero el árbitro interviene deteniendo la pelea. Ahora si le haces daño vuelve a pasar los mismo.
