Perhaps it is Alex ex name Joel but Alex hit Joel for trying to kiss her because she still loves Charlie but Charlie left Alex and Charlie is saving her life when she got stabbed in the heart just like Alex saved Charlie life too much time when he was in a coma he kept dying and Alex kept saving him everytime when he die

Joel great charavter and Doctor and great sexual chemistry with Alex but he was unable to be faithful as his encounter with Selene proves. So those who shipped him.for Alex I dont get it .... he would not have remained a good fit for her long term.
