There is a story. A story of a boy named Alex who traveled to a far off land from his home. When he arrived to this land, he searched deep within its swamps for a certain creature known in English as an alligator. When he happened upon said creature, he battled it with his bare hands. Once he obtained the upper hand, like the mythical Dragonborn, he used his voice to incapacitate it. He then ate the alligator in order to absorb its essence and gain a new "voice." The sky wept as Nature was made aware that there is now someone that could rival her.

I think Mick Gordan probably has some reluctance about anything Doom related with what he had to go through, I reckon things like this help show the value of the soundscape he had to offer, IT's so good to see more music inspired by him come out, hopefully it helps to encourage Gordan to produce more metal
