Just to set the record straight, Alex did NOT pay for the whole Europe holiday. He certainly helped us a bit with savings, but he’s not quite the high-roller the media is trying to make him out to be! Also sorry to Dominic for smushing him I legit panicked when he highjacked the interview! When they asked if I would do the interview I immediately told them I would not put the birds in a stressful situation or unfamiliar setting, so they agreed to send a camera to our house. The wellbeing of the birds will always be first priority.

I was less nervous that I thought I would be. All I had was a cameraman in front of me and voices in my ear, so I couldn't actually see at the time that I was on TV, which I think made it less scary. I was worried the birds would be spooked by the equipment but they were super calm and cooperated wonderfully!

Spain is lovely. I go to Alicante every year and this year I’m going to Barcelona for a few days as well. I was going to go to Barcelona a few years ago, but then I got sick (very sick. Almost died) and we had to postpone it. I’m very excited, Barcelona looks beautiful. Spain is lovely, has a wonderful culture and brilliant beaches and fabulous food. I love seafood, so Spain is a great place to be. Sorry, I just love Spain. Much better then crappy England.
