Machine Head is actually just the name of this specific mix, it's still Akira :) I'm a huge fan of Machine Head, as in the band, this is not them, but I understand the confusion

Mary's voice ist pure emotion- a bit of desperation, a bit of grief, a bit of hatred but all in all perfectly fitting for a game like silent hill. I love it.

I completely feel you, my father put the fear of eternal damnation so heavily it pushed me to study all sorts of religion and occult, he's dead now and I'm not sure if I'm happy or craving closure

I find it interesting how I dealt with the opposite of the father-kid story in this game, so every time I hear this song I imagine the opposite happening, making the lyrics have a unexpected meaning, they still work, mostly as what was expected in each moment.
