Alex Txikon inaugurates the Mendietxe Museoa in Azpeitia: a tribute to mountains and mountaineering

Alex Txikon has inaugurated the Mendietxe Museoa, a new Mountain Museum in Azpeitia, in the Basque Country. Located in a former ecclesiastical building, the museum offers a journey through the evolution of mountaineering equipment, displaying a wide range of historical items including technical clothing, tents, and footwear. Alex Txikon and Anna Ferrino commented on this project as an important initiative both for Ferrino and for the history of mountaineering.
