I loved the reshoting of this scene because I like to think of it as this was the way Alex's remembers the night they first meet and the first one we see is how piper remembers it. It's a crazy comparison because piper is overhearing a wild story and then is getting made fun of flirting everything says she intrigued by alex but alex it's the talking about messed up relationships and staring longingly at piper like she knew that was the love of her life that just walked in

Wow.... I could tell they reshot this scene again. A lil blast from the past for us fan's to watch. I bet it brought memories to both actresses of the first scene they shot. Everything full circle.. I like how Alex not knowing who Piper was yet, looks at her with a lingering stare. Alex was in a relationship at the time with Sylvie and yet as broken hearted as she was, there was something special she saw in Piper as if they were soulmates. Love it.. 💜💜

does anyone notice how Alex (Laura Prepon) doesn’t hold Sylvie as close as she does with Piper? Like even in prison when Alex hated Piper she still held her close and her actions were more comfortable. Alex’s actions with Sylvie are more ridged and there’s not as much chemistry ya know?

That's kind of the point, though. Sylvie is emotionally unstable and suicidal and it's clear that Alex wants to break up with her but can't. Who would want a burden of someone threatening with killing themselves? A relationship like that can't be anything but tense. Stepping on eggshells...
