You can remove the battery when you are not using otherwise it gets rusted inside and also the battery gets over very fast.I also used this type of BP checking kit when I was pregnant.

Lobsang… some swelling in legs is normal during pregnancy. It happens due to the weight due to growing uterus pressure on the veins and also your body is producing more blood leading to fluid accumulation. Keep your legs elevated when sleeping or sitting. Eat healthy low salt diet.
