Can't imagine, there was a time in Germany, when there were tournaments held for several weeks. It's a pity. Scott Hall, Vader are two examples who were honing their skills in Europe. Even Andre the giant (past his prime) came over to wrestle Big Otto in 1987. I hardly can understand why there are few successful German wrestlers.

Similar story as with the AWA. They had a small but strong roster that was aging, they failed to build up or find new guys with the same amount of talent, while at the same time WWF and WCW bought their best.

@@FantadiRienzo They did have young guys go through there in the late 80s but no one would stay before taking off for WWF or WCW. The Road Warriors, Scott Hall, Curt Hennig. A few examples of guys that moved on to bigger and better things.
