The ultimate determining factor that defines the quality of design would be intent. Since we can only assume their intent, it boils down to whether you think it's complementary to the rest of the game. There are different genres of racing games specifically because of this. Ronnie was gifted with an Aston Martin by his parents, so he lend the Supra to Vic so he could stop the Player from getting the number 13. Rog knows you from a period between Underground 2 and MW. Roc recognizes your car, the BMW M3 GTR, and he says to you "Look what the undergroung let loose", which means he knows you and he has probably seen you run during the events of Need for Speed ​​Underground 2. Darius was hell bent on getting revenge, Darius, Angie, Wolf, Kenji and the guy who drives the Jaguar relocates to Rockport to get answers from Cross. Cross has been off the force for some time after getting fired . Cross is now a Ex cop and street racer. Darius and the crew manages to finds and chase Cross down. After being tracked down, Cross gets jumped by the Stacked Deck crew because of his betrayal (in Carbon) and Darius wants all previous information on the (player.) After Cross gets jumped he gives all his files and information to Darius on what the (player) has been through from (UG1, UG2 and MW.) Since Darius was already in Rockport he thought he try entering the blacklist again to get close to Razor. The Blacklist now has 25 members with new racers and the OGs. Razor and Darius battle for the 25th spot, Darius wins but he really doesn't want the spot, he just wants info from Razor on the (player.) Darius and Razor are now allies because of a common foe. Mia is also no longer a cop but fell into the racing scene, Mia owns her own garage and have several cars and is also number 1# in the Blacklist. Darius and Razor, wants to get the players attention so they steal all of Mia's cars and his boys reach number 1# again with his crew behind him. While Mia gets tossed in jail. Darius goes through the (players) file an is shocked at what he had accomplished and goes to Olympic City with Stacked Deck to find Eddie and the Eastsiderz. Darius finds them and call them out on a 4v4 race, the race ends up being a bust cause of the cops, but afterwards they meet at the Eastsiderz Garage and they Ally with Stacked Deck because they have something in common they all hate the (Player.) Darius also sees that he had a smaller beef with Tj he allies himself with him and gets upgrades. They also planned to destroy the (players) friends cars which was Jose and Samantha and his Ex girlfriend Melissa, just to get the (player) attention again. However (Eddie wasn't in on this idea he had no clue, he would never trash his Ex car, he trying to repair a broken relationship with her after they broke up sometime ago.) just Darius and Tj was in on this scheme, once they trashed the cars Darius and Stacked Deck skips town and head to Bayveiw to find Caleb. Eddie and the Eastsiderz Reach 1# in everything again in Olympic City. After Reaching Bayveiw, Darius wins a few races and finds Caleb. Surprisingly Caleb already knew Darius cause he heard stories 5 years ago how Darius got whipped by the (player), Caleb rejects the alliance while laughing in Darius face, but Darius calls him out on his shit and asks him didn't he get his ass bear by the player too?? Caleb stops laughing an gets seriously mad an they get in each other face, until both crews separate the 2 from the fight. Reapers talks sense into Caleb an then he agrees. Darius and Caleb both come up with a scheme once more to get the (players) attention. Caleb's the most evil out of the group he came up with the idea of kidnapping (Rachel) or the players (bitch) as he would always say. Darius was skeptical of it at first but goes through with it along with stealing and hiding her 350z. Cross alert the (player) on what's been going on, Mia's disappearance because she got arrested and asks for help. Then Samantha and Jose calls asking and pleading for help because there ride has been trashed and need you to find out whats going on and who did what. The (Player) has to go through all 3 cities again and reclaim it all. The Player goes to Rockport first seeking Rog they race an then Rog helps the (player) and joins his crew. Later down the Road after taking down Razor an his crew an busting Mia out of jail, Samantha calls again crying because she knows something's wrong because Rachel has been kidnapped. The (Player) Rog and Mia goes to Olympic City next to help the player gather info. Jose is glad the (player) is back in town an joins his crew with a new car along with Klutch. The (player) becomes number 1# and tracks down Eddie, Rog beats his ass for answers. After the (Player) gets his answers Eddie and the Eastsiderz becomes allies, especially after (Player) explains that Melissa's ride has been trashed especially when she calls him on the phone asking Eddie for help. The player then racers Tj of course wins, Tj tries to escape but the player after the race and Rog, Eastsiderz catches him. Tj is forced to fix all 3 rides. afterwards Eddie and the Eastsiderz take over TJs garage which is now available to t player an his crew as well. Tj is fetched to the cops. The Player, Samantha, Jose, Rog, Mia, Eddie and the Eastsiderz all head to Bayveiw. The (Player) Reaches 1# in the city an calls out Caleb beats him. Once again Caleb tries to escape, some of the (players crew) is being chased by the Reapers crew and cops, but the player manages to total Caleb's car and the Embroidery were Abel's to take down t Reapers which were chasing the (players) crew and looses the cops. Once the player kicks Caleb's ass he gives the location of Rachel and the 350z and then knocked unconscious he wa handcuffed to a light pole by Mia while she tipped off the cottage gang and the Eastsiderz rush to the abandon warehouse save Rachel and the 350z and unite. While the celebration was short, guess who has been busy while you were away from home?? (Palmont City) That's right Darius and Stacked Deck they orchestrated the whole thing so they could lure you from your home and break your crew up that was in palmont. Darius tricks your old crew Into thinking they wasn't worth shit an the (player) left them for new adventures. While you was away from palmont, Nikki secretly rebuilt Yo M3 while your were gone or bought a M4 (players choice). Nikki tried to keep the peace with in the crew but it didn't work out because they fell into Darius hands Neville(Muscle), Yumi(Tuner), Colin(Exotic) and Sal(Mixed) has made there own crews. Also Darius and Stacked Deck have stolen money and parts from the (players) garages while he was gone. while your old members divided palmont up all over again fighting for territory. The player and his new crew takes down each Ex allied former member to get answers on why they did what they an did an who stole from the (player). Come to find out it was Darius the whole time as expected. you regain control over the cities and each Ex member has been exiled. the (Player) and have a massive showdown with Darius, everyone from the car scene from all 3 cities are in Palmont to watch you take down Darius for his wrong doing. After beating Darius he tries to escape by using his crew as a distraction your crew takes them down, an Cross out of nowhere to help you take out Darius, once you total Darius car an the others in Stacked Deck. Cross arrests Darius and gives the kid a head start. Cross was undercover the whole time and never left the force. The player now must escape a level 6 heat like old times and jump a new unfinished bridge again with his BMW M3 GTR or M4 (players choice) to a new city. The rest if the story will be in the next game (Cliffhanger.....)

For me, I'm glad they finally decided to use real manufactures body kits for NFS 2015, something that I've been looking forward to for a very long time since Underground. Sure, they are some cars that you can't actually use the body kits due to licensing issues (especially Ferrari, they're pretty strict about licensing in video games) but at least you have other cars to modify. Actually, in Need For Speed Underground and Most Wanted (2005) there is two wide body kit that is based on Peugeot 206 WRC and Fiat Punto S2000. They use their own name for the body kits because they didn't had licenses to use the name of the wide body kits in the game. Don't believe me? Look it up 😏

Both were remastered for PS3. Most Wanted 2005 was only available on the PS Store for like 5 months. Carbon is disc and manual only. No buying the game online. Carbon can be found at your local game store or GameStop. I found my copy of Carbon at Disc Replay dirt cheap and in great condition. Or Amazon.
