I got 3 inch drop on my tsi and I'm static. The only thing I hate is 1 all the spring noise and 2 all my joints (mainly the tie rods and sway bar end links) creak and groan at times.

I have 40ks on mk5 rabbit in the rear no perch just the little rubber piece on the top of the spring nothing on the bottom after a while my control arm was almost split in half the spring was coming through the bottom😅
