@@TrueWalker88incorrect. While she is physically very beautiful (obviously), I know/know of plenty of women-- celebrities/models and a handful of women whom I know personally-- who are just as, or *more* physically attractive, but who do not possess even a fraction of Alexa's charisma, wit and overall allure. Like it or not, her charming personality enhances her beauty and *is* in fact what draws so many people (especially women) to her. If she was just another beautiful face but with the charm of a cement block, you would not see this amount of interest in her-- and again, particularly from other women.

Lasik is one of the best things I ever did for myself. Not having to depend on contacts and glasses is amazing! I'm on 12 years this year and always tell my story to others, so that it may help them to decide if they want to get it done as well.
@brooklynbutter53575 жыл бұрын
But lasik is not a cure all is it? Your eyes will still age and in your senior citizen days you may still need to rely on glasses to some degree. It is what it is I wear both contacts and glasses. Nice to switch it up when I want
@tmsalvatore5 жыл бұрын
@@brooklynbutter5357 That's the exact thing I didn't want to deal with anymore. I didn't like the idea of my eyes defeating me, and didn't want to depend on glasses. I decided on Lasik, because my eyes are super sensitive and I couldn't wear contacts. This was the best thing I ever did for myself and body. True, you may need reading glasses at some point, but I think by the time I get older, I won't care about wearing glasses sometimes. Lasik isn't for everyone. I have other friends and family that don't mind wearing their glasses either, but then others that can't stand it.

I’m 76 years old and just started to wear contacts two years ago because I needed glasses for everything. I’ve accidentally gone to bed with my contacts on twice. The first time I took them out in the morning because I thought I might have harmed my eyes. But the second time I left them in because I had to be somewhere, wore them all day and no harm. But I have an acquaintance who has “six month lenses”. Her husband has them also and he always wears them longer than the prescribed time. She said his eyes start to bother him after a while though.

I think the 10 months refers to lunar months since women's cycles are lunar. A lunar month is roughly 29.5, which is roughly 4 weeks (commonly seen as 1 lunar month= 28 days, or 4 weeks with 7 days a week). Hence, 10 lunar months. I've asked this question before too ;) ha!

This. I have never thought about it. As a Chinese, the 10 months have always seemed to refer to the lunar calendar for me, coz we use it. While learning english, I always heard 9 months or 10 months, and I have never considered that it was wrong.

It's usually 40 weeks from the first day of your last period until your due date, but you're actually pregnant for 38 weeks. They count for the extra 2 weeks as it's easier. 40 weeks divided by 4 is 10 months but most months are usually more than 4 weeks, only February has 4 exact weeks (unless it's a leap year). So if you think about it you're actually only pregnant for around 9 months. It sounds so complicated but I hope it does make sense as it's the best way I can explain it! X

Eggs: place eggs in a saucepan, cover with an inch of cold water (fit the pan to the number of eggs you have so they're not swimming in a vast ocean of water but nicely cozy with their neighbors). Place on high heat, bring to a boil, then turn off the heat. Cover and let set for 10-12 minutes (by your description of what you're looking for, I think closer to 10 minute side of the equation.) Uncover, drain, run under cold water to stop the cooking process - and make it easier to peel. Peel (well, yes). Enjoy.

The egg thing. If your egg is at room temperature - strictly 4 minutes with a tablespoon of vinegar in the boiling water - will help guard against boiling cracks. If the egg has been in the fridge - why would you put an egg in the fridge? For the pregnancy question, the answer depends. Most children are born between 37 weeks to 42 weeks. So that's actually shy of 9 months to shy of 10 months. But the weeks are counting from the 1st day of your last menstrual period (assuming you have a 28 day cycle). For a 28 day menstrual cycle, in general, you ovulate in the middle. So that means for the 1st 2 weeks in that the pregnancy week count, you are not with child.

Answer to the egg question...put the eggs in cold water, turn to high until it boils then take the pan off the burner and let sit for 10 min. (for a soft/hard center), maybe 6 min. for a soft center? Crocodiles, alligators and chickens are all currently living dinosaurs. Just think/intend that "it's going to be calm and peaceful on my time line" OR "that's (the craziness) not happening on my time-line".

My eye doc says she can't see any problems with my eyes related to this. Sometime last year the company came out with Air Optics Day & Night Aqua which they actively market as being for 30 days continuous wear, and when they released them they changed the recommendation for the other Air Optix varieties to 6 days. I'm 100% confident this was just a marketing tactic because nothing has changed about the older versions and the new ones cost 3x as much so of course they want you to buy them.
