This show was amazing! Can't wait for another season. They cut the gimmicks, made it super professional, and fun and funny! Ugh and no more store runs to mood. Just good fabrics, craft, and creativity.

YES!!!! I get so annoyed watching these shows with all the fake over hyped manufactured drama, the cattiness....none of that in this show, just fashion. i don't know why producers ever thought we needed that bullshit to be interested

Tan has such a fantastic energy and charisma. I love him. You just want to listen and watch him all day long. Watched the show when it dropped it so cool! The budget used in the show it's really darn impressive. the sets are phenomenal

Been in the industry for about 15+ years, and I have to say... Tans advise for knowing how to do a Tech pack was spot on. Also, learn how to sketch by hand and in illustrator. I love this channel and Next in Fashion.

Great interview! Love tuning for Build Series. Tan is so awesome and he keeps it real. Really great advice he gave towards the end. Tan talks about his background as designer, fashion school .. (yes people, he's not just a stylist, this formidable man created 3 BRANDS) and how you need to find a specific market for your products and not do what everyone else is doing but create something different, something what isnt on the market that will help you stand out.

I just finished binge watching this season. It was really good and i really did enjoy it. I guess the format is what makes it work and it is a very Drag Race idea. The talent was amazing and some of the creations were just amazing. I found the whole thing about hearing about some of their idea's being stolen by larger fashion houses and the Kerby guy laid it bare about Vuitton but the interesting things was that came from that conversation about minorities within the business and their struggles for opportunities and to be seen. I was confused as i was under the impression the head honcho at Vuitton was black??. Also if i was Ashton i would be checking the latest active-wear by adidas for his creation during that challenge, they put it down and he was in the bottom 3 and it was amazing. I thought the winner was very worthy and that wedding dress at the end was just wowza and it is nice to hear that her collection has been selling very well online. I like the fact that the winner is having instant success from appearing on the show as that is not the norm when it comes to reality shows.

Tan and Alexa are "the biggest names in fashion" .... how can you even think that, let alone say it
@idkatthispoint46574 жыл бұрын
household wise, tan probably is.
@dejavu0114 жыл бұрын
@@idkatthispoint4657 "the biggest name in fashion" means that if you say 'fashion', his name first comes to mind. Even with the popularity of Queer Eye in the US, who are these viewers that will think him to be the biggest?
@idkatthispoint46574 жыл бұрын
Deja Vu a lot of my friends who watch queer eye don’t have a lot of exposure to anything else in fashion so i think a decent amount who think of him pretty quickly when they think of fashion

well what were tans designs what was the label where can i buy them i have seen no evidence of his design work and i want to see it on my body in the mirror so what is the dealio. i did see something to do with bathers but it was really bad so i guessed that wasnt him or was very early work if not i should fucking design bathers
@wilmafistfit47884 жыл бұрын
thelonious monk he’s obviously not designing anymore and being a designer doesn’t mean you always make mass ready to wear. Sometimes you just do custom looks
@lucamolta4 жыл бұрын
@@wilmafistfit4788 well that is very cool i have plenty of custom looks in my head i better get them happening. still want to see these looks also want him to tell me where his teddy bear bomber is from i want that.

Hated how these two treated the Black people on this a show. Alexa was openly hostile not only to the Black designers but to the concept of streetwear. She is an awful person. Stopped watching after episode 4. Do not anticipate many Black people enjoying that British woman's company. She was really disgusting.
@Stu80254 жыл бұрын
I didn't get that vibe from her at all. Do you have an example of when she was hostile?

Enjoyed this and definitely made me want to watch the series but jeepers Tan, stop talking over Alexa! And pointing out her farts! By the end of the interview she's actively having to manage him to prevent being interrupted halfway through a sentence. Yeesh
