@siracastori01 Жыл бұрын
In my experience (I've been a child/underage actress for10 years. Still an actor, but I'm 21 now) is not technically always a crime, not even now. Until around 5/6 years ago a peck or even a perceived french kiss (usually was not really one, you would kind of tilt your head and move your mouth close to the other person cheek, then the camera angles and post would do the rest) were not a legal issue: of course this only worked for us if your director or showrunner was not a certified perv who took pleasure in watching tweens and younger teens be uncomfortable or repeatedly do actual kissing scenes for no artistic purpose but his own sick mind. More recently, SAG-AFTRA has implemented stricter rules (or...rules, really): for children is completely forbidden and can at best be simulated (meaning sgi, post, props or stunt doubles, not what I was talking about before), while as far as teens go, you need parental permission, an intimacy coordinator is strongly suggested even if they're not normally used for kissing, and both actors (even the possibly adult actor who has an underage scene partner) have the right, regardless of parental approval, to refuse to shoot the scene. I don't know what goes on in non-union productions, but those are pretty much only film school shorts and scrips tend to have to be approved. Of course it's completely different in Europe or Australia. (I think the entirety of the producers of SkinsUK and of half of French cinema would be in jail now otherwise)

I am a hugely nostalgic person so the title put me off at first, but the video content itself was hugely eye opening and informative and I'm glad I watched the whole video. I think we should be able to enjoy the nostalgia of our past (if we can) but also be able to look at it critically. I think this particular instance is relavent right now when fans have more access to their favorite "stars" now more than ever! It's especially problematic with child stars, I think. I'm shocked at how much they were interacting personally with a fan! I think Samantha was right on the nose, saying there are appropriate fan interactions and inappropriate ones, and these definitely crossed the line. In a recent video, Savy Writes Books said, "we look back on the past with whatever color glasses we want to see it with." And that really resonated with me. She was talking about how we look back on Mr. Rogers and see him as a non-controversial, apolitical figure, when he was actually very political and very controversial at the time. It's the same here. We look back on these shows and see them as this positive force for good, because that's what we want to remember our childhood as. But just as there are negative aspects of our childhood, there are negative aspects of these shows. And if we don't address those negative aspects, we will perpetuate them on our own children, and these TV studios will continue to perpetuate them on child actors.

Growing up I absolutely loved Zoey 101 and other shows both on Nickelodeon and Disney and seen both positives and negatives in both. I was a teenager when I watched these shows so I did catch some of the not so appropriate jokes and seen some good things like making awareness of certain issues like on That’s So Raven they done an episode on how people of a different race was judged and mistreated in the episode where a retail store manager hired Chelsea who could not fold clothes and handle customers very well but raven could but because she was a person of color the retail manager wouldn’t hire raven. They also did more episodes talking about Black History Month and so on and a few shows did similar lessons like in Suite Life of Zack and Cody, a few episodes raised awareness of eating disorders and proper eating and risks of eating unhealthy like diabetes and high blood pressure. But in the meantime some things as we learned recently from an interview from a cast member, it was an issue bts on looks and appearances. So that speaks to me in a way that thankfully what was shown on tv was more of a lesson and awareness in my opinion but there was definitely more than that going on. As someone who was bullied in school I relate and my heart hurts when I hear of things happening. I experience verbal and mental but I never experiences physical or SA so I can only use my empathetic mind set to imagine the hurt but I hope that this kind of behaviour stops especially when it comes to Hollywood and what the kids see on tv because it can make them see it as ok when it isn’t. Big round of applause for all the activism work that you are doing to raise awareness of this very important issue and I hope all the best in the future and so sorry that you and anyone else who experienced trauma like that. No one should have to go through that at all. Take care and keep up the good work. You’re doing an amazing job with it!

Thank you for sharing your story Samantha. It is so incredibly important to shine a light on these type of 'Power Play' interactions with fans within the industry. I admire your bravery for speaking about this publicly and choosing Alexa to be your safe space to do so. I am so deeply sorry you experienced this. I think your conversation was beautiful. However, I do feel l need to say that when it comes to Child SA cases, chatting about who the alleged victim is can be triggering . Whether D.Bell sees this or not. On the other hand I feel it is an important and necessary topic to talk about in order to spread awareness when talking about Nickelodeon and the adult crew working for the Network without including the 'alleged' victim by name. I just felt you speaking or sharing who you were "allegedly" told the victim was, was uncomfortable to watch as it is an extremely sensitive topic. As we now sadly know... you were right. I guess I felt D.Bell should be the only one to be talking or sharing this first. Unfortunately, I personally think this very small section of the stream just felt insensitive. I would like to reiterate that the rest of the conversation between Alexa and Samantha was beautiful, really educational and most importantly undoubtedly sad. Thank you for your continued work for supporting survivors Alexa, you're doing an incredible job.

You do realize paul specifically is not in the movie because during when they were promoting the tv reboot that never happened. Brittney controversy made its way through livestream showing jamie and certain things. Plus probally behind the scenes shit we dont know. But yeah, he is not a part of the movie. And if they choose to do a reboot in the future after 2022/2023 or so, he will not be a part of it at all.

You have to realize you're on a podcast that is literally worshiping alexa, their form of evidence instead of actually going by the courts is well Alexa said it! How in the living hell is that considered evidence? I'll tell you what this was the first time I've ever seen an allegation a very serious allegation from a young girl that's underaged, accusing a celebrity of something that is absolutely malicious and disgusting, and not one person that I see especially in Alexa's crowd of people, come out and ask for evidence like demand evidence nobody demanded any type of evidence all they did was going one of these videos or some biased KZbin channel and get their information from there they didn't tune into the court case they watched it way later on, they didn't even give a damn first of all and second of all I do recall back in the day when you know people were more rational, they would demand evidence to see this because if Drake really did do something like that that is something that is not acceptable needs to be addressed to the public but the fact that there was so much evidence to prove that he was innocent apparently is enough evidence to prove that he is guilty? At least that's how these people are saying it that follow Alexa they are a cult I'm telling you right now they are a cult

I remember first finding out about Zoey 101 because of my friend, but I never really watched it but only caught glimpses of it. My friend kept calling me Del Figgalo all the time. Then I was like " dude why the hell do you call me Del Figgalo! What is that? " then he said I looked exactly like him from zoey 101 and that he was this very cool guy that was a heart throb. I didn't know who he was and one day I caught a glimpse of the show while my brother was watching and I found out who Del Figgalo was and got so pissed, I called my friend the moment I saw the show and called him an ass hole and a duce bag and a bunch of other things. Lol

So I’m watching this video after seeing the Quiet on Set doc and Samantha saying she heard about drake and Brian peck before the doc came out is just so crazy. This literally means that it was known by someone in the industry at some point before the doc came out and they still did nothing.

Which cast member do we think Alexa connected with?

I noticed that Erin Sanders was barely mentioned in the stream (outside of evidence related to creepy behavior from Dan). I think it could be possibly be her, but then again it could be anyone.

@maximusprime3459 Жыл бұрын

@MystiKalRaven79 ай бұрын
Wrong....@@maximusprime3459you can initially feel weirded out or creeped out by something and still be groomed because the grooming process takes time. That's the intention of the perpetrator, the normalization of predatory behavior.

The truth of all this is that Jamie was always jealous of you because undoubtedly you were the prettiest one in that series. What bothered Jamie was that she is simply Britney's younger sister and nothing more, because that woman is quite ugly. I've always disliked her, but I support you because I also suffered bullying in high school, a long story.

Thora Birch and Christina (children in the 90s) Ricci have kissed lot of boys in different movies. When I watched in the 90s, I said what the hell. Kirsten Dunst was 13 and kissed Tom Cruise in Interview with the vampire. The most shocking ever is the movie called Prophecy 1995 and if you go by the time 34: 57 you will not believe it.

I'm pretty sure Jamie just doesn't like alexa, so she will never speak out with her involved, especially since they directly had a negative experience with each other. I feel like if it was someone else on the cast speaking out like alexa, she probably would've said something. Unfortunately, alexa is not everyones safe space, and that's fine.
@SAMEntalhealth9 ай бұрын
It's dangerous, like to be honest with you Alexa and anyone's story is a dangerous combination because she is known to fabricate and exaggerate certain things, loves to put people under Fire and expose people which kind of shows that there's a great chance in her past she was actually an obnoxious person that was self-centered and narcissistic constantly craving attention that she probably didn't get from her cast members so as a way of dealing with that this is what she's doing now. It only makes sense I don't know that's just the way I see it but I don't trust the way she goes about her content, plus if you're all about helping people and exposing predators, she definitely exposes a lot of people but I don't see her helping people, it's easy to gossip and just say who did what and all that but all that money from donations expensive expensive merchandise and AD revenue, I mean she did find this organization and it's more like a corporation I'm just saying I don't see it going out to the people that need it like victims that could need the finances that can't afford therapy, or any kind of help at that, I see her helping herself a lot and justifying it is she is a victim and she's a Survivor and the money is Justified in her pocket, it doesn't sound logical to me I don't know she just throws me off a bit but I feel like Jamie is just like WTF is wrong with this girl we were kids why is she still worried about it and getting yelled at by Britney Spears okay maybe it was a little upsetting to her but that's something eventually you just get over
