A really cool feature is you can say your comand immediately after the wake word, I see alot of people wait for the light.

I've had that happen with certain Amazon commercials. I think they once had a problem because a commercial featured someone ordering a product and anywhere it played Echos were trying to figure out what kind of cat food you wanted to order- or something. Although, in this case, when you know the word will pop up continuously all you have to do is hit the mute button on the device so it doesn't respond to voice commands.

I have not yet jumped to Alexa. My concern is that the parent companies (Amazon, Google, etc.) truly only wish to get a better hold on your purchasing and interest for future sale to other companies. If I purchase I would only want to utilize music. My question is this, can on ask Alexa to play music from my own playlist or purchased music on Amazon (my music) or can one only ask for more generic e.g. "Alexa play the blues" or "Alexa play Ane Brun" or "Alexa play pop music".
