Nice video. There were a couple of surprices here and there. The reason the villagers can sleep on the beds while half their body is inside lava or other block, is due to their hitboxes being tiny when they sleep, so the hitbox does not touch the lava. If you push the villager a bit, it should interfere with the lava and burn.

1: Cauldrons are a very broken piece of code aren't they? 2: There's actually a reason for undead mobs being damaged by healing potions. In many forms of media, the undead can by hurt by holy or restorative Magic (Skyrim's Turn undead spells, Final Fantasy's Phoenix Down, etc.). Minecraft doesn't really have Magic that the player can directly use (Enchantments are passive on armor, and we can't cast any of the weapon effects without the weapons), so the solution to this was to invert how Undead mobs react to the same effects as the Living, Sure an Instant Harming potion is deadly to us (a living player) but to a being without flesh to harm it doesn't have the intended effect. Meanwhile the restorative magic of Healing and Regeneration potions is destructive to these undead monsters, and can effectively be explained by Positive energy countering Negative energy. It's why Splash/Lingering potions of Regen and Instant Healing are extremely useful for Trial Chambers where there are a lot of Undead Mob spawners.
