Yes, although what they giggle around makes it a little clear the rough form of the joke. As a hint, search for politicians and Clapham Common. Or St James’s Park. Or Hampstead Heath. Or ‘any common’, as Joe put it. A brunch at Soho House would be required to give you the stamina for all that… walking. And drinks in Soho later to rehydrate too. Maybe in somewhere on Soho Square. Incidentally, can definitely recommend the Soho House brunches. Get one if you have the chance next time you’re in London.

Dealing with sexuality in the 80's was pure hell and I got so much so badly wrong that even at 50+ I watch loads of teen dramas just to kinda do a postmortem on my youth (I kinda believe in reincarnation so am expecting to have to do it again at some point and hope to learn from my mistakes; albeit I reckon my entire youth up to being about 26 was one big massive mistake). Things have obviously changed since my days of teenage angst, but they have also remained the same and while I can't really identify with one character I can see bits of myself in each of them. The show is brilliantly written and I am just so invested in Nick and Charlie that I felt kinda sad when I watched a podcast and it kinda reminded me that they are not real.

Daniel, I feel the same way! I’m 38, and i recently binged all three seasons and I felt sad when it was over. The cast & crew did such a wonderful job creating a world full of warmth. I enjoyed every character; at no point did I want to press fast-forward. Also, I wish they were real too, but in the universe of Heartstopper, they are real in a way. If it has the power to make people feel, then it’s real in some way. One good thing is the show inspired me to reevaluate my life and feel less lonely. It’s going to take a work, but I think it will be worth it!
