Very nice high-level design/engineering talk. I found & flipped through the book he mentioned, The Timeless Way of Building, haven't finished it, but it has a very interesting vibe. Philosophical almost more than it is technical. Seems to be focused on evaluating the elements of design & standard practices by the qualitative human experience of them, rather than just the quantitative measures. Looking forward to reading the rest of it.
