I'm surprised by the bone tie It looks amazing as well as the entire collection; It looks so different from when Sarah started to take control of Lee´s house . I know so many people hate Sarah Burton for what she has done with the brand for example stigmatizing the skull as in icon for McQueen, I think is the best strategy and choice she had ever made; maybe the only one?

Uniform obviously equalises those who wear it but Tailoring is hardly a democratic way of dressing, especially not Alexander McQueen tailoring

......graphic text Sarah , Really ? soooo Original

There's originallity all over the place and NO graphic text. If you knew what you were talking about you would see it. My goodness, what a moronic comment. Never fails to amaze at how willing people are to expose their stupidity for all to see.

Very disappointing! Reality check, Sarah Burton all of this has already been made in the past by other designers this are just basic Blazers with patches on them, ugly patches at that. Never in the history of Alexander McQueen's collections has he ever use bold graphic text on any of his garments. Because he was talented enough to get his message through without using words. Alexander McQueen would send models half naked down the runway and it would work. Every time and I do mean every time he would get a standing ovation! Look at the audience there so bored they did not even look back at the clothes as they pass by. This truly was a boring disappointment...

@nestergonzalez9367 What a load of nonsense. You're talking out of your *ss. Have you ever actually seen menswear designed by Lee? It was appalling in every sense. He could not design menswear. Sarah Burton's tailoring cuts circles around Lee's. As far as blazers are concerned. A blazer is a blazer. You make changes by changing the cut, the fabric and the details which is something that happens at McQueen every season. If you actually knew something about fashion you would know that. These are clothes that men want to wear. Lee McQueen was not more talented than Sahra Burton. It's your preogative to like what you want but don't make stupid comments in an atempt to justify it. You're the one that needs a "reality check".

How sad the beaten up look of models is more and more taking over mens fashion too. It´s not the same as theatrical looks. This is depressing

Nick.... you said it. I am sorry for how misogynistic this may sound.... women can not design for men. Alex would be horrified.
@Consrignrant10 ай бұрын
@shanemartin9393 No, Lee would not be horrified considering that it was Sahra Burton who designed the clothes that went into production while McQueen was alive. Didn't know that, did you. You're talking out of your *ss. Have you ever actually seen a menswear collection designed by Lee? They were apalling. He could not design menswear. Sarahs tailoring cuts circles around Lee's. These are clothes that men want to wear. Clothes that make money for the company. Something that Lee McQueen never achieved. You don't know enough about fashion. I suggest, in the future, that you keep your mouth shut.

Disappointing - the men look effeminate and weak, not character aspects men want their clothing to project. The sell-through must be horrible. Lots of good ideas in the collection, but the proportions horrible. The designer is begging to loose money and stay irrelevant.

Please don't ignorantly generalize the demographic. Thin waifish male models were used before in Calvin Klien campaigns, and led to a whole "Heroin chic" trend which is very popular even in today's fashion niches. All McQueens models from the begining have always been on the skinny side, men and women, and The brand is one of the most famous and luxurious. This is is solely for your primary comment on you soeaking on behalf of "All men", A lot of Style icons, like Jared leto,Mick Jagger etc are all on the skinny side.

The label never made any money until Sarah Burton took over. The guys look pretty masculine to me. And cool. You just stick to your 10 dollar skinny jeans, sneaker socks and white Nikes. I'm sure you'll feel like a man.
