Does the line A kingdom for a horse I'd still be in search of La La Land Mean sold a kingdom for a horse to start the search for la la land or something else? Like i got a kingdom for selling a horse (working as a horse) but i still think of my dream that i can not accomplish cuz now i m tied to this kingdom that sustains me but doesn t accomplish my dream?

Hii! ahahah that is an interesting interpretation!! 😊😆 Actually the line ' a kingdom for a horse' is a quote from the play Richard The Third by William Shakespeare. 😃 King Richard says ' my kingdom for a horse!" at the very end of the play when he is about to lose his final battle, and is willing to sacrifice anything (such as his entire kingdom) for a seemingly less valuable asset (such as a horse to be able to escape). The phrase is often used to mean wanting something so badly that you are willing to give up anything to get it, even if it is completely irrational. And so in the context of the song, the narrator is willing to give up anything, for a chance at pursuing a dream, (depicted as 'La La Land',) so very likely not even real.
