I will say this I had someone walk out of my life and they did it so harshly! I've listened to this song for years and it didn't bother me a little bit! It didn't bother me until I lived it recently! I'm driving my car today September 2022 and the relationship has been over since the end of June 2022 and as a man I can honestly say when you have lived the lyrics to a song it really hits different! I'm like Man this makes me think of her like crazy. She adopted me when I was 3 and told her husband/my dad. And said to him that's that. No discussion, no nothing. And nobody told my dad to do anything. 🤨🤨 She loved me. Taught me. Punished me. Encouraged me. I hope I made her proud. 🙏🏽 I can never repay her or thank her enough.
