As a person who can't sleep well, pills sound wonderful but I'm afraid of this very thing. And I think that Alexander is so brave and so kind. I really respect him both as an artist and as a human being. May you flourish and I hope your music touches many others.

I honestly enjoyed the interview. I'm not happy that he experienced addiction but i'm happy that he opened up about it. Somehow he became SO relatable. We all go through dark times like that and now it feels like he's one of us. He's a fighter and a survivor. Sharing his journey can motivate a lot of people to start the change within themselves. And we still will be supporting him to get better. When I was reading about Belarus protests, I was curious how he would feel about it. And now I got my answer. I'm from Iran myself and the situation is pretty similar to what we experience. I have family there and I worry about them when I'm living abroad. I hope he will be able to visit his family all the time without any worries. Him doing a masters made me feel like I'm not falling behind in life. I can also take my time and get there when the time is right. Overall, he's always been a favorite but now he just became so relatable that it just feels different in a good way. Sending him and his loved ones best of luck and best of wishes.

I adore the way he answered questions about Belarus, he shows that the situations worries him but he cannot criticise it because he wants to have an opportunity to visit his relatives there
@Jeiran744 жыл бұрын
@@Anna_Nels0n I loved it too! You could feel he is worried and sad for the country. The answer was very rational and yet packed with emotions and humanity. And he said you have to fully understand something to talk about it, that's gold! We often forget that we lack information about things that we talk about and it's so important for him as a public figure to be fully informed before voicing his opinion. I hope they can find peace in Belarus 🙏🏻

It's a very good interview, I'm glad he feels better now. He does come across as hyper and sensitive, so I'm not surprised he struggled. He's very intelligent and nowadays given the context, it's better that he stays cautious to protect his family in his parent's country. By the way, I loved hearing the Norvegian language. Good luck Alexander.

My english ain't the best but i still want to try to say what this interview made me feel cause it made me feel a lot of things. I did read about this on instagram but I found this interview couple years later but I started crying when Alexander spoke about the pill abuse, it feels somehow comforting that someone else knows too what it is and how it feels cause I have experienced pill abuse too for many years and actually realized it only some months ago so he put into words the thoughts that I couldn't. Also the fact that I grew up being a fan of him, I was only 10 when he won eurovision and since then he has been my role model so he has been a big part of my life, I dont know how to describe it in english but now as 23 years old (hopefully not sounding as a creep fan) it makes me feel like i have even deeper connection to him cause he has struggled with the same struggles as I have so hearing his words about this really touched me. Thank you for opening up about this, it has helped me and many others too

Dear Alexander, in a world that so often values macho above sensitivity, you are very brave mentioning that you are a 'highly sensitive person. (1.52) Well done on being open about that. I really sympathise with you not being able to get to sleep after a show and hope you can get some comfort from Dr. Elaine Aron's groundbreaking study 'The Highly Sensitive Person.' How you describe yourself is totally HSP. Being an HSP means that you are both introvert and extrovert, in that you can be the life and soul of a party but you then need to go off to a corner in order to process everything that has been going on around you. Otherwise, you can't sleep properly. I think the amount of people that Aron mentions as being HSP in any given population is 20%. It is an important book because it emphasises that even though you can easily get overwhelmed by everything that is going on around you, you still matter. You are just as important as those who need more 'noise' in their lives in order to cope. I hope you never forget this - you matter too!
