Alexander Scriabin - 4 Preludes, Op. 31

Scriabin’s 4 Preludes are a set of middle period works. All four are concise and succinct, with the longest being the first Prelude. The progressively tonal first Prelude begins in the key of D-flat, and modulates so that it finishes on the unrelated key of C.

I love his Preludes very much, along with the Sonatas, this is where his transition from a romantic composer to a highly personal mystic is shown at a very emphasized rate.

@@aldoringo439 Long List but here we go: Sonatas: No.2,3,4,5,6,7,9,10 (I'm not familiar with the 1st and 8th so that's why I left them out) Preludes: Op.11, 15,16,17,22,31,33,37,48,67,74 I like all his Impromptus, Etudes and Poemes as well as the 5 Symphonies and the Piano Concerto. Misc.Pieces: Fantaisie, Allegro de Concert, Vers La Flamme (Technically a poeme) F-sharp major Album Leaf and Op.58 Album Leaf. Mazurkas Op.25 and 40. (There's some more but I don't remember them)
