God, how had I never heard this song until a few nights ago? This is... indescribable. The strains of the violin are incredible throughout the entire piece, but after roughly 1:59, it becomes something else. So much energy and emotion. As time passes, it's as if the violin is crying out in a desperate plea for someone, anyone to listen - before it's silenced with a final, strained note. I don't mean to sound pretentious (and I don't usually enjoy waxing poetic), but that's how I tried to verbalize my thoughts on this work of art. And that wasn't even my favorite part to listen to - my favorite is right at the beginning. The first piano notes combining with this mournful violin produced music that left me in open-mouthed awe and with tears streaming down my face. It's beautiful. Thank you, Alexander.

This great music was composed by the Israeli senior composer Reuven Sirotkin.
