@@lambree4947 IMF tells governments how to subvert public resistance against elimination of cash It's all planned out... The International Monetary Fund (IMF) in Washington has published a Working Paper on “de-cashing”. It gives advice to governments who want to abolish cash against the will of their citizenry. Move slowly, starting with seemingly harmless measures, is part of that advice. In “The Macroeconomics of De-Cashing”, IMF-Analyst Alexei Kireyev recommends in his conclusions: Although some countries most likely will de-cash in a few years, going completely cashless should be phased in steps. The de-cashing process could build on the initial and largely uncontested steps, such as the phasing out of large denomination bills, the placement of ceilings on cash transactions, and the reporting of cash moves across the borders. Further steps could include creating economic incentives to reduce the use of cash in transactions, simplifying the opening and use of transferrable deposits, and further computerizing the financial system. The private-sector-led de-cashing seems preferable to the public-sector-led decashing. The former seems almost entirely benign (e.g., more use of mobile phones to pay for coffee), but still needs policy adaptation. The latter seems more questionable, and people may have valid objections to it. De-cashing of either kind leaves both individuals and states more vulnerable to disruptions, ranging from power outages to hacks to cyberwarfare. In any case, the tempting attempts to impose de-cashing by a decree should be avoided, given the popular personal attachment to cash. A targeted outreach program is needed to alleviate suspicions related to de-cashing; in particular, that by de-cashing the authorities are trying to control all aspects of peoples’ lives, including their use of money, or push personal savings into banks. The de-cashing process would acquire more traction if it were based on individual consumer choice and cost-benefits considerations. Note, that the author is not talking about unreasonable objections and imagined disadvantages: He does count it among the advantages of de-cashing in the very next paragraph that personal savings are pushed into banks and he also does count total control of all aspects of financial life under the pros, as in the last sentence of the last quote below. “As de-cashing gives incentives to economies’ agents to convert their currency in bank deposits, the deposit base of the banking system will increase, which can help reduce the lending rates and expand credit.” And finally the advice to do it together: Coordinated efforts on de-cashing could help enhance its positive effects and reduce potential costs. At least at the level of major countries and their currencies, the authorities could coordinate their de-cashing efforts. Such coordinated efforts are, in particular, important in the decisions to phase out large denomination bills for all major currencies, to use ceilings and other restrictions on cash transactions, and to introduce the reporting requirements for cash transactions or their taxation. For currency areas, a single decashing policy would be clearly preferable to a national one. Finally, consensus between the public and the private sector and outreach on the advantages and modalities of gradual decashing should be viewed as key preconditions for its success. The paper itself is an example of such “outreach on the advantages” even though it pretends to give a balanced account. Throughout, as in the following paragraph, potential disadvantages of cash are in the indicative and strongly worded, advantages are introduced as hypothetical, by referring to the possibility that people may perceive a certain advantage of cash. The differences between currency and transferrable deposits are also remarkable. They are often used by both sides of the debate on the pros and cons of decashing. First, currency can become technically obsolete. Banknotes fade and break, and the efforts to remedy the problem with plastics is of little help and involve unneeded costs. Transferrable deposits do not have this problem. Second, payments with currency are anonymous, which makes them a popular vehicle for abuse, tax avoidance, terrorism financing, and money laundering. Transferrable deposits are personified and generally cannot be used for these purposes. Third, currency is prone to counterfeiting, at times on a large scale. Transferrable deposits are not. Fourth, currency is often perceived as a means to preserve privacy, i.e., economic operators generally are not interested in the history of the currency of their transaction. Also, the individual right for privacy is usually enshrined in laws and transferrable deposits store each step of the payment history, which can be viewed as a threat to privacy. Transferrable deposits lead to full transparency, at least to the issuing bank, and a complete record of transactions, which in virtue of law can be used by tax and law enforcement authorities. The paper lists a fair number of advantages and disadvantages of cash, but makes no explicit attempt to argue that overall the disadvantages are more important. The language and the recommendations make the bias more than clear, though. Needless to say that, as with all scandalous, antidemocratic recommendations, the ones described here are officially only those of the author, not of the IMF.

I love how Alexander took off in pursuit of king Darius as he retreated TWICE, but turned around both times and rode back into battle because his men were being flanked or needed his help. This is how history should always be told and shared - Asha Logos style. I must say, I did not know prior half of Alexander the Great's exploits; I had just chalked him up to be another war hungry conqueror, as that is what is generally told and promoted by mainstream education - which I have no patience for. But this account was most riveting, and brought me to tears several times as to the nobility and honor that this man embodied. A true warrior king, of the highest order - thank you for your work!
@seraphx262 жыл бұрын
Alexander was war hungry but war was seen as virtuous in his time, what separates Alexander from petty warlords was his higher sense of civilization, he knew there was more to the world than war even if he loved waging it. He loved learning as much as killing, he loved building as much as destroying, he understood and embraced this dual nature within man, the bestial and the divine. He was capable of showing mercy to the defeated but he was also capable of depopulating entire towns/cities, modern men of the West tremble at the thought of being like Alexander and so many do dismiss him as a tyrant and war monger, because so many of our spirits have been polluted and weakened by the modern "love is everything, do no harm" view of society.

I am so excited to have found your yt channel Asha. Last year I fell into a depressed state, feeling devoid of all hope for humanity and my 5 children's future. I am now beginning to feel more empowered and hopeful in knowing that our forefathers carved an honourable path. With the mainstream narrative of our history hiding these feats of great lineage of people who stood for our freedom and equality of the people as a whole. I have found enlightenment through your work and a much clearer picture of how our history played out. Confirmation of what I've always suspected, that a dark agenda has taken our power and sovereignty away. Thank you for this thread of hope, I will be sure to teach my children the truth beyond what we are being led to believe.

Please believe that you have your own power and Sovereignty and that cannot be taken unless you give away. I understand how you have felt fear about our situation and it is greedy, twisted and evil psychopaths who are hell bent on trying to take our hearts and minds. I speak to people daily, who are awake and aware of the corruption amongst the globalists. There are many of us and we need to be strong. What is good needs to prevail against the evil!

So glad this series is still ongoing. Alexander is my hero. Even being familiar with a lot of these stories I had never heard of the Caspian Gate Gog/Magog thing. I also agree Alexander was murdered. On campaign he was untouchable, such as he was surrounded by his most loyal and ferocious warriors. He returns to Babylon and instantly gets ill and dies. Very fortuitous....

One of my favorite sagas from this man's life, in Persia he came upon a group of Greek speaking slaves who'd had noses, lips, and hands in some cases, removed. He offered to send them all home but they politely declined, having had their spirits all but annihilated and not wishing to face the embarrassment of their deformities. Alexander awarded them their own land and country that they may continue their lives with the wives and begotten children they had taken among them as slaves. This is one of the single most impressive power plays in history, and frequently brings me to tears.

Unfortunately that story appears only in a single source (out of several), and the particular source in question is kinda known for adding in literary flourishes if not outright tall tales. It would be cool if true though

In Valerio Manfredi's Alexander trilogy, the archaeologist implies that this may have been the real reason behind Alexander's decision to sack Persepolis and burn its palaces to the ground. And to be fair, the Persians burned Athens to the ground, so they had it coming either way.

You absolutely need a Great Man series. Its an interesting historical theory, many reject it, but I'd say its true to a greater or lesser extent dependent upon the greatness of the man that history pushes forwards. The greater the man, the greater the impact on on the future that follows.

I come from a long line of martial patrelianial lines, exiled to America infact, in any event: from adolescence to adulthood(32now) I have always known something. Even as a child, I know that I was going to have to - rather was meant to - fight a noble war for my people. I assumed it would be physical, in my youth induced stupidity I became someone who, expecting the future war to be physical, began turning myself into a hardened man who has experience with violent conflict. Fell in with my crew and we would get tuned up, and prayed a fight would come out way. Between Brooklyn and jersey, fights - especially back in the 2000s - were not even need to be found, they'd attack you over virtually nothing. Many times we were totally outnumbered, one time I was jumped, head stopped into concrete per eye witnesses when I was alrdy knocked out, couldn't see but a giant blurr of color for almost 3 weeks. Fun time **sidebar about fight skip this paragraph if not intetested** I fought a guy from a tougher borough than mine, he was also all County wrestler, and 15-20lbs on me. He was supposed to win, i made mistake of going to their territory for this, I agreed only on conditioned: I could bring 2 guys, and they could only have 2 aswell. I show up and there is 3 of them I should've on principle called it off but my pride and my commitment to win this fight and boost the reputation of our borough and crew(how moronic lol) I was already locked on and couldn't abort. Fight starts out boxing, in short order he realized his reach and strength advantage was insufficient in stopping my strike speed and my reaction/evading/agility in my counters.. I win the fight, they are embarrassed the laughed and said its gonna be fun to jump you. My 2 buddies rushed in, the 3rd pulled a gun whilst the other two stomped away. Back to pre tangent point; I just had this conversation with someone today, I was saying the same thing there are zero vehicles for us to discharge this protedtive energy that builds up. Like the rooster, when a threat is detected and enemies come to do our people harm, we go into warrior mode and death becomes inconsequential at that point. It is a hell of a thing, to see the war being waged against your folk, and all brother and cousin folk. To know how long this goes Back, its overwhelming. The fact that we currently don't have the vehicles and systems to fight on a physical front, we MUST then take it to the spiritual front. The priest castes of old were the total opposite of what we see today, we used to have honorable men of military skill in their own rights being amongst the priestly caste. “The society that separates its scholars from its warriors will have its thinking done by cowards and its fighting by fools.” - Thucydides Its time for men who, in any other era, would've recognized the imperative and rode out, dutybound to defend their blood and their land. We live in the constant barrage of 5dimmensional warfare, a protracted and ignoble tactic to use against people. Because of this, I believe we need to lay the spiritual foundation in ordered to fully organize with any success. Apologies is this was rambling im half asleep.

@@brettpilkington9539 You are right to a certain extent. I can say I understand what you mean. We can indeed change a lot of our circumstances. But also, we are limited. This idea that we can be anything and do anything and achieve anything that we set our minds on, is an idea created by the system in which we live and is not grounded in reality. There's a limit to everything, and we have to find our own limits. To that extent, yes, we can change a lot.

Αλέξανδρος/Alexander My greatest ancestor! 🇬🇷💙I grew up reading about him every day! His first tutor was Leonidas, a relative of his mother, Olympias. Leonidas, admired the Spartan upbringing of the children and due to Alexander’s unruly character, Philip knew he would be the perfect tutor. Leonidas was indeed a very strict tutor with the young Greek prince. He removed from his room anything that was luxurious or unnecessary. Alexander had to live a complete simple life with no luxuries and minimal food. Here’s a taste of what Alexander had to endure. When Alexander was allowed to rest, but not sleep, he had to have his arm stretched out of his bed, and hold a rock above a bowl of water that was placed on the floor next to him, by Leonidas. If Alexander fell asleep, the rock would drop in the water and would wake him up. This harsh training proved invaluable to Alexander when he marched against Persia. There’s a beautiful statue of Alexander holding a rock with his right arm.

I'm remembering primary school lessons, nearly 20 years ago, when we were told that Alexander the great had once come through and visited our home town (Paderborn in modern Germany). Of course, at the time, i knew little to do with this information but it is now, that i begin to feel immense pride at the mere passage of this formidable man more than two thousand years ago.
