The reason as to why Alex is underrated is because of everyone around him at the same time during his come-up. You had the likes of Jones, Cormier, Miocic, McGregor, Holloway, Aldo, Adesanya, Nurmagomedov, and many others. He was literally competing for the limelight whilst being the only Australian to ever achieve real success within MMA. There were so many MMA giants created in the 2010's of the UFC it was insane.
