The only source is a screenshot from this Swedish woman, who however says she never posted any such claim, and no one has any link to the claim she is supposed to have made, ONLY a screenshot which are notoriously easy to forge. In other words, there is no reason to keep repeating this probable fake news.

By the way, the NATO support for Ukraine makes up a far bigger and more important share of Kiev's entire fighting capacity and hardware resources than was the case with the US lend-lease to the Soviet Union (Americans in particular love to frame it as if almost everything that kept the Soviets going and fighting during WW2 had been gifts and leases from Uncle Sam, but this is rather inaccurate)

Swedish foreign minister Tobias Billström gave a knowing smile for the camera when he announced, earlier this summer, that he had a very special gift in store for Ukraine: one of the AWACS "Global Eye" radar aircraft, in effect an airborne battlefield command post. It's not about noticing. It's about what is fed to the reporters. Reuters reported properly that a military target was hit. From that the NBC reported accurately that a military target was hit. On the other Hand there is German media, where most outlets simply omitted that a military target was hit and reported, that a University Building was hit.

Some in Russia would have preferred to act earlier, some later, a few never. The Centrist decided when hawks' arguments were better than those of the doves'. You can describe anyone as "Fascist", that word has long ago lost any objective meaning it used to have. I think the best contemporary definition for "Fascist" is someone whom those self-identifying as Communists don't like. Putin being a "dictator" is an absurd claim. He is an elected state official, just like, say, Joe Biden. There's nothing suspicious or illogical in Russian election results. Putin simply does darned good job, especially compared to his predecessor whom the Russians still remember.

Sweden donated two AWAC planes to Ukraine, presumably to aid F16 pilots in targeting or avoiding Russian fighter jets. The advisors are instructing the Ukrainians how to operate the AWACs. Problem is the advisors are probably dead and at least one of the 6 trained F16 pilots is also no more. Such a shame!

A Russian missile has hit a concealed Ukrainian position where two US-made multiple rocket launch systems were deployed, the Defense Ministry in Moscow reported on Wednesday, showing purported footage of the strike. Before I started this war the American and European military promised me Patriot SAM, Stinger portable personnel SAM, Hawks, French, British, Swedish, Italian, and German anti aircraft anti missile defense systems -- I was told these would neutralize any Russian missile attack. My field commanders report that the Russian has no fear of them and even attacked SAM sites in broad daylight in my backyard. I feel like Rodney Dangerfield-I don’t get any Respect.

Putin has repeatedly said that those who've served in the Russian army and have distinguished themselves during the SMO should be working in the Russian government/given appropriate roles in the Russian leadership positions, given their experience and honours that they've earned as soldiers/military men. Putin has also admitted during his latest trip to Tuva that some of his family members actually do speak Chinese. So, if those soldiers will actually have leadership positions in the Russian government, how do those "analysts & experts" calculate that they (those war-hardened men & women) will somehow be mellower than Putin & easier , more compliant to deal with for the West?
