I think the reason I love listening to his music is because I can tell he's just a really good person. Kind of person I'd surround myself with wherever I'm at. His songs carried me through my last highschool year and for more years and now. Really, only one other artist besides him helped me reconnect with life. Music is very powerful especially when you listen to people who are good in so many ways. So thank you.

I remember sitting right in front of the tv in our house, with a Norwegian flag in my hand, overly excited for your performance at the eurovision song contest in 2009. Ever since, I've loved your music, and I remember I got the Fairytales album as soon as it got out and I listened to it non stop. There's also this one thing, and I'm not sure if it's a dream or not, but I remember watching a music video to one of those songs, either Rollwith the wind or Kiss and tell where there were small fairies living in a tree or something, and it was so lovely. But I haven't seen it in years, but I'm convinced it was an actual video and just got deleted or something. Anyway, you clearly haven't aged a lot. Thanks for coming to my ted talk.
