Seo eunkwang mom's isn't a professional singer, fun fact: it is her first time performing in national tv just for her baby (that performance is from immortal song- a korean variety show. A lot of btob-blue unforgettable live harmonies were showcase there). She is part of a church choir. Most of eunkwang's family members are gifted singers, he also performed with his brother and cousin in a show. They are all amazing! you can easily search them here on youtube. Sooooo happy that you guys are checking out BTOB's guide!! I'll try to answer your questions as much as possible and to my knowledge: 1) The BTOB's fan lightstick is called Melobong.. The Melobong is supposed to be a trumpet/music note when looked from the side, and it is in the slow blue colour(official BTOB colour) 2) Eunkwang's mom is not a professional singer but she sang in the church choir which influenced Eunkwang's musical senses a lot. Sungjae is the total opposite from Eunkwang and Hyunsik because all of Sungjae's family member are tone deaf, so much so that they jokingly said that Sungjae was adopted. 😂 3) HUTA is the name Minhyuk use when he was an underground rapper (pre-debut) and when he release solo albums. HUTA means to swing into empty space like how baseball player swings their bat more than a thousand times into empty space for training. So HUTA means that he would not stop training and improving himself. 4) Hyunsik is a professional diver with rescue diving license so he did all the filming underwater in the sea himself for his 2nd solo album's title track. Fun facts: - From their Killing Voice, 10 out of 14 songs are composed by Hyunsik(8) and Minhyuk(2) - Hyunsik and Changsub are alumni of Practical Music Department of Howon University. The acceptance rate for direct admission at that time was 5:3000 (meaning only 5 passed from 3000 that came for audition and test), and this happened before they debuted as BTOB. Out of the 5 admitted for direct admission, 3 were girls and 2 were boys and the boys were Changsub and Hyunsik. - Eunkwang and Changsub met when they were in their high school years because they attended the same vocal academy at that time. Additional update 2024: Yook sungjae just released a new album very different from what he had done before. Exhibition: Look Closely has three songs, 2 of which has mix of korean and english, while the other one is purely sang in english! You should check it out and enjoy his vocals.

If you guys want to watch some of their variety stuff I recommend "Btob three meals" or "Born to Btob" , both shows are pretty recent and don't have too much episodes unlike the " what's on cube" videos that you asked about that's just their behind the scenes of their schedules since they debuted .

To be a full member of KOMCA (Korea Music Copyright Association), your earnings from copyright has to have surpassed a certain amount. Which Hyunsik achieved in 2022. Hyunsik actually haven't composed for other artists much. He's only actually started doing so in the last like two years to a few (

Thanks guys for a BTOB deep dive! ❤❤❤ Yes that is the BTOB lightsitick… version 1 was shaped as a bugle/ French horn, the latest is shape of the gramophone. Eunkwang’s mom is not a professional singer, but she is in church choir for a long time; and fans assume she taught piano first to Eunkwang. Hyunsik is a licensed scuba diver, so he really filmed underwater.

Since others already add some more info,I will just add a little bit more such as: 1) Sungjae had debuted as rapper in Big Byung together with Jackson(Got7),Hyuk & N(Vixx) 2) Eunkwang really has singer's DNA in the family,,including his younger brother and cousin 3. After 'The Man' cover in Immortal Songs and withdraw a lot of attention,Eunkwang was contacted by CJ&M to release official remake. 4. Changsub is the CEO of Changggo (practical music training centre) 5. Ilhoon's sister was also a singer

I know this is a btob video but since you love musicals, I recommend you check out Kim Junsu (Xia). Junsu and Eunkwang are my top two favorite Korean male vocalists and they actually both played Arthur in the Excalibur musical. Junsu is a former member of TVXQ and he is one of the idols credited with opening the doors to musicals for idol singers. He has a killimg voice where he does his idol songs and songs from musicals if you're interested.

Thank you for your interest in BTOB. I am happy that you like their music and are willing to dig deeper. You indeed should also watch some of their variety shows, behind the scenes or interviews - they are hilarious (one of their variety programs was called Beatcom). If you want to check them more, it is a good way to start a journey with a debut song “Insane” which you've liked in the Guide. You can continue by choosing the genre: goofy vibe like “WOW”, "Beep Beep", intense "Thriller" or "I'll be Your Man", heartbreaking like “Beautiful Pain”, "Someday" or their recent release “Wind and Wish” - all depends on your mood. They also have many more wonderful songs, but some of them without MVs ("Yes I Am", "Show and Prove", “Show Your Love”, "Bull's Eye", "Friend", "Red Lie", "Guitar", "The Feeling", "Whiskey", "Dance With Me", "Heaven", etc.). All of members have solo albums or tracks in somewhat different music styles (Changsub (rock-ish style), Sungjae (more pop, but you should check his recent cover on Benson Boone's "Beautiful Things"), Eunkwang (ballads), Hyunsik (alternative rock), Minhyuk (tracks in his albums are the most versatile in genres) and Peniel (rap, dance). Maybe later you would check their solo projects. Also, I believe many people would recommend Reserved and Quiet Idol series - but I actually would recommend another one. R&Q Idols were a good start and many thanks to the creator, but the content is a bit repetitive and is really more about them being loud rather than funny. But, of course, reaction to any content which is to your liking would be appreciated. One more interesting type of content to watch is their Recording Day videos. yes eunkwang, hyunsik and changsub were originally picked for band, eunkwang can play the piano, hyunsik guitar and changsub drums sungjae was originally picked to be a ballad singer too!

changsub signed as an actor, meaning a musical theater actor. in south korea he is getting casted into all the big musicals and garnerning quite a big fandom in musicals

16:20 Trivia : BTOB's lightstick box has a gramophone photo in it. Cube didn't say anything abt it but the fandom think it is based in gramophone + trumpet and a blue morning glory flower (the official color is slowblue).

And what's even crazier is that they sound even better in concert because they just do what they want to do. The ad libs are usually off the chain, especially Eunkwang's. yes i remember being disappointed with the news that they were signing under dod and not forming a company on their own. but thanks to dod we were able to get btob name back. and dod formed a subsidary named btob company under them. so thank you dod!

It is true that the vocals are in Eunkwang's genes , his mom as you saw, sings with the choir in her church and he was also did a duet on a singing show with his cousin who loves to sing (not professionally) and he was on a musical with his brother.

I have been a kpop fan for long time for 15 years but I feel like I am missing something which is unusual for me but BTOB fans isn't ilhoon no more part of the group because he was found guilty for purchasing and using cannabis for years which is crazy reasson to be no more part of the group .is he back or coming back?
