She has a unique, inborn talent and the discipline! to use it, to bring so much pleasure to others. she will go very far, actually she already has gone very far for her age. The lovely era dress, matching also the concert hall is so suitable for her (also in her great Mendelssohn no.1) unlike the dark colors for a young girl. I feel all kinds of details are important to create an esthetic magic.

How many hundreds of times we've already heard this concerto but never this variety of emotion and color before. This tempo is 8n cut time maybe I just hear better in my old age . So responsive is it to every note. I grew up with Clifford Curzon in this no finer Moxartean exists . I need to go back and hear them. The subtlety here is a revelation!

She seems to be playing in concerts almost daily. Extraordinary. I just watched/heard her play from the final movement of Tchaikovsky's Second at a concert the day after this. Extraordinary. Such poise and beauty. Very fast fingers. Plays like she's been performing in public for a decade - but she's only 11! Extraordinary.

She began to study the piano at the age of 5. Dovgan currently studies at the Moscow Central Music School of the Moscow Conservatory (Mira Marchenko’s class). She is the winner of the Villahermosa Internet Contest (Mexico, 2014), the 9th International Ural Prokofiev Competition (Yekaterinburg, 2015), the 11th International Safonov Young Pianists Competition (Pyatigorsk, 2015), the I All-Russian Music Talents Internet Contest (Moscow, 2015), the 13th International Young Musicians Competition (Piano Category, Moscow, 2016), and the 18th International Nutcracker Television Contest (Moscow, 2017). Dovgan is also a prize-winner at the Vladimir Krainev Moscow International Piano Competition (2nd prize, Moscow, 2017) and the 4th International Astana Piano Passion Competition (2nd prize, 2017). She has received a special prize from the Yamaha company. The young pianist has taken part in various international festivals and has toured in Russia and abroad. Dovgan receives scholarships from the Vladimir Spivakov Foundation, Mstislav Rostropovich, and the New Names Foundation.)

Я просто поражен! эта девочка вытянула такой концерт! Я с первых тактов оркестра хотел от досады отключить и не слушать дальше. разочаровал оркестр и маэстро Спиваков. Но! Как только вступила эта кроха, так все изменилось. И музыканты видимо пошли за ее игрой. А в adagio и музыканты заслушались . Финал чудо! Браво Саша! Спасибо за исполнение!

Odd you should mention him - he commented about her recently in response to someone's comment about her - "A miracle, with nothing chilld- like about it" - I looked him up and it was remarked that he was typically very spare with praise for ANY pianist.
