In regard to finding God’s plan and purpose and the detours……It’s so hard to decipher if it’s the Lord that is having you take a side road or if it’s the enemy setting up road blocks. Please discuss this one day. I have struggled with this situation for years.

That is quite sad. The Pharisees get so much flack, but their initial intention was very much valid: they were addressing the cycle of Israel's continuous forgetfullness of God's Word and falling back into sin then into captivity... I guess it just goes to show us that we cannot save/protect ourselves by our own works and efforts only. We must continually seek God for today's Manna, for today's instruction and strategy.🙏
