I'm Portuguese, born in Portugal 1984. My dad played the guitar, so many portuguese songs and also of course the spanish masters of old - to my father just revered as masters absolutely ever no question about it. For my life, like 20y after I find this "Alexandra" girl on YT and start hear her playing and I'm like - this sound is my life. You convey all the history, all the feelings, this is just gold platinum standard playing. And she's not Portuguese or Spanish yet the feeling is there. How is it possible? I'm just happy it is

You looked about like I do when I make mistakes. It is kind of nice to see professionals make mistakes too. My mind blanked once while playing Recuerdos when I got to the repeat minor section. Briefly paused then had to skip to major.

Great performance as usual. I wonder what it feels to perform in front of a larger crowd that are not used to classical guitar performances compared to playing in front of a smaller crowd who are all classical guitar enthusiasts?

I agree, this is appalling travis picking, but as serious classical playing , whilst carrying an injury, few are capable of such mastery.

She is a good guitarist overall but her tremolo technique is weak. What I have realized is that for the most part guitarists who don’t relax their wrists (most modern guitarists) have problems with tremolo as their fingers are not efficiently aligned on one string unless they have small hands like Jennifer Kim.
