☁ last books i got from the library: knock knock, open wide by neil sharpson (kinda has a folk horror flavor so far), i must betray you by ruta sepetys, and ducks: two years in the oil sands by kate beaton (a graphic novel) also, just wanted to let you know that naoise is pronounced NEE-shuh! it's an irish name and the name of a character in one of my favorite stories from irish mythology -- you can probably find videos on how to pronounce it if like me you're not so good at seeing approximations in just words

The last book I purchased was on December 27 and was Saving Winslow. The last audiobooks I got were dnf's so they don't matter and I don't go to the library anymore since I moved in 2006 because I don't have enough money to get in a taxi and head over there and back and I also don't care to keep returning to bring back my books. LOL... I just wish they could come and get the books themselves, to be quite honest. Heheh. It would help those who don't have money for bus fare or a car or even a person willing to keep taking us to and from the library every time we wanna go.

Ah, this video was so fun and got me interested in so many new books! My wallet is not grateful, but I certainly am! Maybe I'll peruse my library for some of these :) The last book I checked out from the library: The Disordered Cosmos (excellent non-fiction about being a non-binary queer black woman in modern physics with tonnes of quantum mechanics theory!) The last books I purchased were second-hand books: The Final Empire by Brandon Sanderson, Jade City by Fonda Lee and The Jasmine Throne by Tasha Suri (booktube made me buy them)
