Peugeot 206 fuel filter 1.4HDI

A video for the 1.4HDI of a Peugeot 206 on how to change the fuel filter. Also applicable for Citroen 1.4HDI, Ford 1.4 TDCI; in some cases the 1.6 HDI, TDCI engines have same manner of fuel filter.

I jumped when the sensor broke . plastic parts get brittle with age and heat .. maybe tighten hand tight and then snug it up. A mechanics term for nip it up.. IE do not over tighten . Great video . I have a Peugeot 307 1.4 hdi . with 328537 km and it runs really well . Just done the suspension bushes front and rear new rear shocks new brake pads all round oil and filter .fresh Motul antifreeze . fresh gearbox / transaxle oil.one new handbrake cable with a spacer to level the handbrake balance compensator .

Bravo, Gicule, mare nevoie au englezii de explicatiile tale. Se vede ca esti meserias, mi-a placut cand ai spart senzorul. Se vede ca esti cunoscator. Cheia fixa de 24 pusa pe baterie are exact lungimea corespunzatoare pentru un scurtcircuit spectaculos.

@@AlexAndreiZAR De-acum am o varsta si vreo 30 de ani ca sofer profesionist.Am avut Dacia 1300 an 1978, am tinut-o din 1993 pana in 2007.Am avut Opel Astra G 1.7 DTI an 2001,am tinut-o din 2007 pana in 2018 cand a ajuns la rabla ca sa faca loc primei masini noi din viata mea, un Logan 1,5 blue DCI.Toate masinile astea au primit intretinere numai din mana mea (bine, Loganul inca nu,ca e in garantie), de vreo cateva zile am cumparat un Peugeot 206 1,4 HDI an 2005 pentru baiatul meu care in curand va implini 18 ani. A fost o ocazie pe care n-am vrut sa o pierd desi eu preferam un Opel Astra 1,7 CDTI. Am studiat m-am oprit la ceva postari de KZbin printre care si a ta pentru ca masina asta tot eu o sa o intretin o vreme. Mi s-au parut de neiertat cele doua greseli,anume spargerea senzorului si cheia pusa pe baterie,nu lipsea mult,o atingere nedorita si cheia putea sa ajunga la borne,de unde rezulta un scurt smecher soldat cu topirea bornelor sau chiar cu explozia bateriei.Totusi, nu inteleg,de ce ai explicat in limba engleza?

@@aureldumitru4479 ma bucur ca ati reusit sa va faceti timp sa vizionati clipul meu. Am ales lb engleza pt multe din clipurile mele fiindca are trecere la nivel international. Lb engleza e vorbita in foarte multe tari pe mapamond. Am sa incerc cu proxima ocazie sa fac o editare a acestui video in care o sa aduc o linie audio cu discurs in lb română. Pt orice alte detalii va stau la dispoziție cu mare plăcere.

@@AlexAndreiZAR Ma bucur ca nu te-ai suparat pe mine,ca sa-ti mai zic acum un aspect de genul asta,m-am uitat la postarea unuia care voia sa arate cum se spala vasul de expansiune la Opel Astra G si zicea,citez:"mai are niste coliere pe ici,pe colea..."si la sfarsit,iarasi,citez:"trebuie sa alegem un antigel care sa nu necesite faramarea motorului". Eu am vazut ca esti un baiat cu carte,inteleg si limba engleza atat cat sa ma descurc,totusi,ai greseli pe care nu m-am abtinut sa nu le comentez.Si acum,daca as fi fost in locul tau,dupa ce am spart senzorul luam filmarea de la cap si poate cheia de 24 nu statea pe baterie.Nu te supara,poate sunt eu prea tipicar.

Thanks for the great explanation. What's that part under the plastic HDI sign that's protected by a black fabric/cardboard cover and connected to exhaust system? DPF?? I need to buy the exhaust for my 2008 206 1.4hdi, there's 2 buy options and don't know if it has dpf filter or not.

24mm is the size if that is what it says in the video.... sorry for not having a clear shot on the size of the wrench

Salut. Nu se întâmplă nimic rău. Am zis 2 minute ca să fie un reper de timp după care sa te ghidezi. Poate sa ia mai mult sau mai puțin, depinzând de la caz la caz.

O intrebare , asta e varianta fara incalzire , cã am uitat... , si anul asta nu am mai gasit modelul de referinta , iau si eu mann , si imi trebuie exact varianta din video . Deci este , sau nu este cu incalzire carburant ? Mersi

You have to fill the filter from the backside (inlet), only by pumping I could not fill the system, so the engine did not start. After filling the filter it started in 10 secs.
