A few interesting facts: 1. While in the story this is a suburb of DC, the real town of Senoia is actually about 35 miles south of Atlanta, where the story begins. 2. 25 miles south of Senoia is a town called Woodbury. 3. The set for Woodbury is one block north of this set. 4. The road just south of the Alexandria set, along the pond, is Morgan Street.

Did not expect this, I figured it was a gated community they used for outside but inside the wall scenes than cgi walls. Even the little crops area I thought was prolly in a studio or something. Really Did not expect all this but not disappointed

Ha I went here as they were filming it, it was when the tower had been destroyed/blown up so it was like that when I was there, I even snuck past the gate (where the little burnt out house is/where they first arrive) and went inside for a few minutes; saw Terminus, Morgan/Rick's house, the S2 ending waterfall, Merle's death location, the barn where Rick & The Governor met (table is still there!) Woodbury, and the cop hospital (went inside there too as it was unlocked and uninhabited) 🙂 Back when the show was still pretty good, it went downhill with Alexandria and Negan (though he personally made it better) then once he was 'defeated' it was game over...

Its actually INSANE that this place exists,, to have a set this huge (literally a whole community) and for this many years... I know its impractical and not happening, but It would be a spectacular and unique museum or tourist place after the show ended. They could deck out each building with props and notes about scenes shot in those areas... its just so rare that a set this big and full is able to be set up and used as a practical location. Great for the actors and also for the production in the long run. Twd us a unique and lucky show to have gotten to have a private set like this
