It probably is time to let go of glow addict. Changing to their own "brand" is basically a way to give you cheap drop shipped stuff for a major mark up. Wasn't it the glow addict lip plumper that gave you probably chemical burns? I think it's ok to let it go

Exactly. And that's why drop shipped makeup and skincare is a BAD idea. You don't know what those random brandless Chinese factories could be putting in it. They've already had a scandal with heavy metals in fabrics just recently. When brands from outside China produce products in house in China, there's a lot more oversight, where as with the off-brand stuff there's none.

Frosted green lips for Halloween would be so much fun! The eye shadow paIette could be used with other colors from another palette. I can see the green highlight used on eyes rather than face. It's the green shade of the mascara I don't get. A dark forest green could enhance your eye color while lengthening lashes, but that shade doesn't seem to enhance the eye, it just looks like it makes lashes kind of disappear with the green eye shadow.

Yes, the highlighter on the inner corners and under the brow would have looked great, I think. I also agree that the mascara shade was a let down, it should have been the same shade as the green she used for the wing. That said, I think dark lashes often have issues with coloured mascaras showing up.

Maybe not all together - but all that green makeup would look awesome with a more grungy look and outfit. Try the gloss over a really dark or black lipstick, and the green highlight over a really dark smoky. The green mascara would probably look better on a "no makeup" day when you just want to throw on some colour. Honestly, this is so much better than another nude/brown look for me :D

Ditch the Glow Addict subscription. I swear the blue box is the equivalent of the products within. 🤨 NONE OF THIS HAS A $25 VALUE (never mind the shipping!). I'm glad you tried on the Slay Glam box. The eye look was pretty and fun. I think you should try the gloss over a dark lip/liner or as a spot in the middle of a nude lip. My favorite color is green and I love that eyeshadow palette and the mascara. I've never in my 60 years used a highlighter and I don't think I'd use that one with that palette. Ok so I actually like the eyeshadow and I think adding the lower lash liner or any of the darker greens with your typical brown shadow looks would be so pretty! It makes your blue eyes pop! And obviously the lip gloss 😂

Cancel the first box and maybe try a K-beauty/J-beauty makeup box like nomakenolife if running out of subscriptions to try out…they always have such cute makeup products from what I’ve seen online. The black pearl eyeliner definitely looked purple and your green eyeshadow looked amazing; esp after you lined your lower waterline. So pretty!

Here is a tip for you Alexandria. When you use eyeshadow as liner spray your brush with a setting spray and it helps. You look like a Fae…..I love it!

Oh that Glow Addict Makeup box was such a disappointment! I would let it go. You definitely did not get your moneys worth at all. I so enjoyed the try on with the Slay Glam products! I actually liked the way the eyes turned out 😊 I agree the hilighter was a bit much for the cheeks with its green shift but I think it would make an excellent eye shadow topper for a future green look. I don’t know what they were thinking with the lip gloss! 😂 you are such a good sport putting it on though! I wonder if it would be safe on the eyes? Would be a pretty multichrome shadow moment.
