Honestly, I think the Trisha box was worse because a lot of that was just objective junk. This box is not well done, but at least the skincare products seem decent enough to actually be used. That said, this sucks.

It was such a cute idea, but they completely failed to create any sort of mini-vacay! And what you describe is not super expensive, they could have easily done that (minus the chocolate, which doesn't ship well, but more stable fruity candy or fun snacks would work great).

That charcoal soap sponge from daily concepts is the sample or travel size, ive gotten it free as a gift with purchase at Ulta. The full size is currently $5 at Ulta, so no way is that tiny thing worth $10. This is definitely the worst box ever!

Full size is 45g, so that's full size, but you're right on the price. You can also get like 3/$10 on Mercari. I liked the sponge, but it's not worth much and you could buy it yourself literally anywhere.

Oh my gosh Alex. About 3 yes ago I was subscribed to a beauty box called BABE BOX. Those eye patches are from "their brand and I got them one month. Did not like those patches AT ALL. Mine were expired,didn't notice they were expired until AFTER I used them. Needless to say they burned my skin . Worst eye patches I ever tried. 😫

I searched Saint Luxe a long while ago (pre Covid) and it sure sounded like one of those companies that get their products from Ali Express or something like that then they resell under their name. Babe brand used to belong to Babe Beauty box which was a lot like a box full of stuff from the dollar store too so I don't know how current those eye patches are. Or if their box even still exists. There is no way i’d use those eye gel pads near my eyes. I’d want to know what it was made off, the place it was made and what ingredients are in them. Having dupe products are ok, but you want to know they are safe to use. And i have very little confidence in the suppliers of this box.

Often those mini coloring books are as random as they are (even with a theme of 'flowers') because it's all the free-source clip-art the publisher can find, but also because sometimes it's stolen art that's then altered to remove the detail and just leave linework for coloring in.

I'm pretty sure the Daily Concepts brand is from... Walgreens? I want to say? I've seen it in a drugstore or TJ Maxx-like setting before. This box has no theme. There are a couple of things that start to get there, but they don't bring it home at all, and the choices are kind of cheap or highly inflated. Thanks for continuing to include puppy beans in the background. They bring me joy.

My small dog Addison is poodle Shitz mix she loves a good chap stick. I couldn’t think how she was opening them but found her one day rolling on the floor so I thought what are you doing she jumped up and she had a chap stick. She just rolls on it till the top comes off keeps rolling until, the chap stick comes out and she eats it. So I keep my chap sticks out of reach she can also use her little paws to scoop things off my coffee table.

So... I like single swag 😎 but I'm in Australia and we don't have great options for subscription boxes. However stuff you received last month off the top of my head the massage roller and this month the necklace I received like 18 months ago. I also got that same kind bar last month in singles swag. Also the colouring book I got that two months ago and I've definitely had the eye masks recently and the cuticle cream 😅😅😅 so there is definitely repeats. I think if we had the options you do shipping wise I might feel different but for what I have access to I enjoy it.

When you opened the first one I knew immediately it was the same as the Singles Swag box I got for a few months. I got the same vitamin C moisturizer and I also got the necklace you got in this box and the cuticle cream. All of the boxes, except one, came with a Kind bar. The bar I did eat, the non Kind one, was expired. I did get a couple of books, only read one and it actually was good. But overall I was never excited by the box and I can't eat Kind bars and one of my other jewelry item was broken, so I stopped getting it.
