I remember the first time I heard Michael Hedges. With no KZbin back then to see what he was doing, I thought it must be magic. It was a mystery to me how anyone could make a guitar sound like that. After seeing him live, I saw it wasn’t magic. I could eventually learn his techniques and actually play his songs. You on the other hand, leave no mystery. You provide close up, multi-camera HD video of practically every single note coming out of your guitar and I am still unable to comprehend the magic you are pulling off.

Why is this so easy for him? I bet I have 20,000 hours of solid practice and I can’t arrange songs at even a quarter of his skill level. It takes me a very long time to arrange any song, and the final result isn’t nothing compared to his seemingly effortless abilities (although I’m sure he’s certainly worked hard) and the impressive pace he puts out new material. I wish I could translate music this well.
