I've always appreciated your photography and teaching abilities, Alex, but I've definitely been noticing, and enjoying, your evolution as a story-teller over the last few years. Loving this series.

Thanks for the look at Newfoundland. I will probably never go there because I don’t have the time to waste on all the bad weather. I realize that there is good weather, which may make a trip worthwhile, but the percentage is too low for me.

I get it, it must be frustrating to miss a shot (although I think the shot you did get was wonderful) but I think it's worth remembering that even though you are a photographer you are also a storyteller and a videographer. The drone shots and establishing b-roll that you get are great and oh so necessary to the narrative you are trying to tell. But I'm sur you know all this! 😊 As far as giving up is concerned I'm glad you didn't either ... some of those shots you got had me all nostalgic for a trip I took to the west coast of Scotland. Darrell Scott wrote "Well, today was once tomorrow And today's tomorrows' yesterday" in a song called "There's no use living for today" which sounds like the opposite of what you were saying but I don't think it is! 😁

When you put all the specs of the first photo. It looks like you may have used a CPL to clear up the glare on the sea. Did you use one? I would have. Looks awesome. Good shot Alex!

Alex, you seem to park up for the night in some pretty random parking spots on your adventures, do you ever have issues with the police or the locals?

In Newfoundland? Never. Otherplaces, very very rarely.
