Sometimes it feels like to me that Alex gets slept on when people talk about great drummers in metal. My opinion may be biased, but (again, in just my personal feelings) Alex is one of the absolute top drummers going right now. Bar none. In my opinion, his talent is only outweighed by his kindness. I love Alex's drumming and i'm not dogging him at all here when I say this. On Like Light to the Flies, he doesn't do the double snare hit on the chorus like in the original recording. It just felt like a little something was missing from the chorus.
