We stayed at the Mandarin Oriental! the reason we didn't include it is because it's really expensive and definitely not somewhere we think most people would want to stay at just based off the price range haha. We did something boujee since it was our honeymoon. I would normally recommend airbnb! Restaurant names we have nooooo idea because we just stumbled across them and randomly went in. The fancy restaurant was at our hotel. And the boat tour is called Como classic boats! But again, expensive! Normally my work travel videos are a little more affordable and relatable :P xx

Alex Centomo thank you! And totally understand! When I plan trips, I like to watch travel vlogs for that destination to get recommendations. Of the videos I watch, more often than not people don’t ever mention stuff like the hotel name, name of tour companies, restaurants, etc and it’s info I know I’d love to know. Ps. This was a cool way to still share your honeymoon with us while taking a break from working

My husband and I went to Lugano on our honeymoon as well! If you ever go again you absolutely NEED to go to Gandria. It's a 1.5 hour walk along the lake and it's a tiny village made entirely of stone in the mountainside.

Lago Di Como is so pretty. I've been there once cuz I'm at Lago Di Maggiore every year since my family has a house there. You should definitely visit that lake next time you decide to go the north of Italy but stay mainly on the eastern side, it's less touristy, not like there are that many tourist in the first place

Lake Como seems to be so beautiful! I lived in Italy during the past 4 months but unfortunately I didn’t went to that lake. I hope to go there next time. However I went to Lake Garda in Verona and Lake Bled (Slovenia). My favorite one was Bled. Super nice there, I love it!

It's called como classic boats but it's very expensive! I know there are more affordable ones that don't have the old boats, but if it's in your budget then I would definitely recommend!

I've never traveled out of the US and one thing that gives me anxiety is language barriers. How much difficulty or complications does this add to your trips? Do you have to go beyond knowing a few basic phrases when you travel?

It can definitely be intimating when you cannot communicate in a new place! Don't let that stop you 😊 It's always smart to know a few basic words (hello, thank you, restaurant, toilet, hospital) and that will get you far! If you go somewhere with lots of tourists they often speak English. Good luck!
