I love your videos where you mix a bunch of styles of metal into one, do you have any insight on how exactly you do this? Do you listen to a lot of bands in that genre and take what you can from it? Is it like studying to you? Or is it just music that you already like?

It's something like experiment for me every time, never know what exactly it will be in the end. I just play and jam with any idea that comes in mind, riff after riff. Sometimes it works, sometimes not.

There's no actual mixing, this track was released more than year ago, i use muly old template, and just changed the amp sim on main guitars. Nothing special, two guitars panned L/R, some guitar layers with pod farm and ez mix for ambient fx, bass track with ez mix on it, old addictive drums plugin. On master bus i have multiband maximazer, tape simulation, ez mix and Isotope Ozone for final eq and limiting.
