8:17 This tip is one of the most important tips I think everyone needs to hear but I also think it’s important to not build up a mindset of “I can’t have anything or I can’t buy myself anything nice.” You can fall into that mindset really easily and it’s not a good mindset to have. If you want to buy yourself something nice it’s totally okay. The thing you should keep in mind is your financial responsibilities and give yourself some time to think about that thing you want to buy yourself. If you go more than a month or a couple of months constantly thinking about buying that one thing I think it’s definitely okay to go for it. This is how you will be able to determine things that you want over things that you don’t really want. The things that you never really had an interest for will go away pretty quickly in your mind but the things that you truly want will be there nagging at you for a long time.
