彼のことは、20年以上も前から知っています。 あの時代は、まさにフィギュアスケート史に残る黄金期でした。 ヤグディンは現在でもカッコいいですね。 そして、間違いなく本人だと分かる「ヤグディン・ステップ」を見ているだけで幸せな気持ちになってしまいます。 今のフィギュアスケートは、単なる4回転ジャンプを競うだけの競技になってしまいましたが、 当時のフィギュアスケートは、見ているだけでわくわくするような、芸術性と表現力に満ちた素晴らしい競技でした。 ヤグディンも、そして最大のライバルであったプルシェンコも、きっと後世のフィギュアスケート界へと語り継がれていくに違いありません。 彼らは私にとって、生ける伝説なのです。 どうかずっとお元気で!!

No one dances so beautifuly as Alexei Yagudin. There's something special, magical about his moves. The way energy floats around him when he skates, the artistry of his performances. It's really something. Never saw it with any other figure skater, no matter how skilled.
