Love the no sand/wet sand bunker tip. Will definitely use that one now the weather is starting to turn. Great explanation that the ball doesn’t always need to be on the front foot with the club way open - this will help me loads. Thanks for the lessons

I switched out my 3-5 irons for the cobra tec hybrids 3-5. And I am sooo happy with the change, especially for those long par 3s like you said, you get the distance. And so much more consistency of strike. It is true that you may have a little more deviation from right to left but the confidence getting the ball down range with ease is worth it a huge confidence boost

Reallt great video Alex.😀 🎆🥇 In the next bunker video can you please explain how the type of follow-through can help your distance out of the bunker in average lie bunker shots? do we always need to rehinge the wrist as we move the R hand under the L hand for the release? You can help us high-handicappers with more videos about really awkward shots (close to a fence or rain shed, against a big tree trunk, under the trees, backhand shots, etc.). High-handicap amateurs always seem to get them, while good golfers can avoid them.

I had a superb bunker shot out on Monday to save (from your other video) and then I went into a bunker where it felt on a downslope. I wish I had seen these videos it would have helped. Thanks coach! A very good video!

Wow. I've been putting the ball further and further in the stance, opening the face more and more. Sometimes works, sometimes doesn't. Certainly not when the bunker is bare. Will definitely be trying this one. Thanks for the tips!

This is great stuff. Noting that the sand type in this video is heavy compared to many softer beach sand courses at Florida, California, Caribbean, Mexico and U.S. PGA top courses. What is the diff between hard and soft sand bunkers?

If I would hit that shots as far as Alex does here, on our golf course, the ball would be in the bunker at the other side of the green. In find short bunker shots far more difficult.

Great bunker play Alex. On Your plugged lies You appear to be aiming slightly right. I assume that is intentional to give You a steeper swing and a bit across as You swing towards the flag?? Rory says He does that. His video on this channel contains that info. Ray
