His fighting ability is second to none. I don't doubt that Alexei could be number one, the only thing holding him back is himself. I really hope he manages to get through any issues in his personal life and claims his place as k1 heavyweight champion!

just 2 cents from a guy watching this sport for over 30 years, including mma and classic boxing, he is by far the most talented ever, and could have been the legend above legends in k-1. they can talk badr, verhoeven, hoost, aerts. if he only shifted in 2nd gear fro the get go he would have demolished everyone. And his evading skills where off the charts, for example his 2nd fight against badr. I will allways regard him as the best ever in K1 , although i'm a big fan of cro cop/mirko tigar early on. I could go on and on about those great matches between 1992 and 2012
