Amazing sound! Do you experience any resonant hum under normal, driving conditions? I had Billy Boat's behind the AR Longtubes on my C6 Z06 and the resonance at 85 mph in the top gear was unbearable.

Question, the shifts sounds so fu****g good. Kinda like the shifts on the 2020 GT500. The best way I can describe it is that they sound like little explosions. What causes this sound? Is it the headers, the borla exhaust, tune? Minute 1:42 is a perfect example

The torque converter is what causes that sound, since it’s not a dual clutch and is a conventional automatic. The exhaust makes it way more noticeable. I’m not sure if this had a trans tune, which may make it shift a little harder but the nature of torque converters on these cars is what makes them sound like that.

Stock fuel system? My same GS got same supercharger and Kooks headers and catted x-pipe. My tuner recommend JMS fuelpump booster but I would like to leave. The HPtuner log show a little fuel pressure fall down at WOT so...

Thanks James I used a Nikon D5500 with a Rode Mic Pro. The refresh rate on the camera is what makes the tail lights look like they are blinking, LEDs actually flash quicker than the human eye can capture but the camera picks up on this, sort of how a moving air propeller on a plane can look still on a video.

I would say it’s faster being an automatic because the shifts are actually very fast. In this video it was making about 530. Now it’s making close to 700. Just posted another video of it, now with forged pistons, a cam, pulley, and more boost.

Hey Alex, I'd be curious about how the cost the aftermarket parts mods stack up vs just going w/ the Z06? I've seen a low mileage Z vs GS is about an 8-10k difference. Here's a little clip of a nice high speed run on the way back from the beach. Lol! Good one! But with an auto transmission I can outrun any C7 manual trans. from 0 to 60mph as I'm sipping on my nice hot coffee at the same time! Manuals are nicer though for downshifting and upshifting esp. around road curves and better sounding exhaust notes too! 👍
