Go back and watch the turtles first fight/encounter with Shredder and notice the huge difference in animation quality and budget. Here it’s much more smooth and fast paced but in the first fight the animation is so stiff their are so many bad shots a lot of bad editing and just horrible sound design. It’s pretty interesting to see how far the show came.

I think the main problem why many people hate this show is because it's a reboot. If this was the original and first one and not a reboot to the 2003 & 1987 series, I'm pretty sure it wouldn't get so many hate. I enjoyed this series, no matter how new it is, I thought it was interesting, but this is the faith of many reboots, they get hate no matter how much they actually don't deserve it. I'm not saying that the 2003 series is bad (I actually grew up watching that show), no way, both of them are very awesome and can't decide which version I like more (but 1987 April O Neil is my fav tho lmao) Now there's another show which is very mixed in this fanbase: Rise Of TMNT I think. Once I finish watching the previous versions, I will give the newest show a try before truly judging it, but I have a feeling by looking at some trailers that it's not my cup of tea, but who knows. Before judging, give every cartoon a chance, be optimistic and watch a few episodes to decide whether it's good or bad. Who knows, it may change your mind. :) I also thought this 2012 series would be very childish but dang, was I wrong, it's very awesome, just like the 2003 series.

Jason Biggs (Leo's first actor in the 2012 series) left the role toward the end of Season 2, so Dominic Catrambone replaced him for the rest of season 2. Seth Green then replaced him in the beginning of season 3. Leo's throat got damaged after being badly injured by Shredder in the Season 2 finale, which is why his voice changed.
