The “MOVE” with the mini breakdown before the second verse, and the OH, OH in the main breakdown are just perfect, really finish the song off

I don't think you can say that BMTH are in any genre anymore. They're simply a fucking experience. The way they mix their old and new stuff and tweak it and get creative with it, it's mindblowing. The true answer to the question of remembering the lesson is that the lesson was never learned to begin with. Sure, we're doing things now, but the moment things look somewhat familiar again, this is all gonna be brushed under the rug. My favorite line from this song is “When all the king’s horses and all the king’s friends don’t know their asses from their pathogens” and it’s such an amazing critique of government reactions and the chaos that ensued with how some countries handled corona by just brushing it off and saying stuff that wasn’t true that’s led us to this point. It’s also just such a good line.
@apathtrampledbydeer84464 жыл бұрын
That synth part is very reminiscent of track on the Parasite Eve OST. The game revolves around the mitichondria in our cells becoming self aware and rebelling against us after a woman becomes possesed by the mitochondria, and is able to manipulate the mitochondria in the living beings around her, turning some into monsters while incinerateing others. Eve has a double meaning in the title as the main villian is Mitochondria Eve (as in Adam and Eve) and it also happens around christhmas Eve.

You really need to check out The Chariot - The City! A crazy chaotic hardcore band! They were friends with BMTH, have toured together in the past, Josh (The Chariot's vocalist) is on the BMTH song "The Fox And the Wolf", and Stevis (The Chariot's guitarist, now in Fever 333, another band worth checking out), filled in for them on bass on Jimmy Falon (and possibly some tour dates, but not 100% sure on that) while Vegan was at home with his new child.

One of my favourite things about this song is that Mick Gordon helped write it. Same guy that wrote both DOOM soundtracks
