Can you guys just take second and look at the map? 3 games out of 104 will be played in S. America. The remaining 101 are so close to each other. Now compare the distances in 2026 WC. 2030 is much more compact - with a nice cherry on top for CONEMBOL.

I watched all games of WC94 , The US team was just amazing especially when they beat the mighty Colombia of Asprilla and Valderrma , i remember Lalas was a great defender with the big blonde hair 😁 im glad he is still around , legendary player . Greetings from Morocco.

you can be hangup about it but I think it was smart to give all 3 south American nations a sweetner and hold the WC in morocco Spain Portugal. It will be the most fan friendly tournament in the last couple decades. It will be held in. 3 very tourism friendly nations with reasonable prices where you can drive after your team. The WC2026 is far more an environmental disaster and totally fan unfriendly extremely expensive and visa issues and it is also will be a huge nightmare for the players with all the travel distances 101 games in 3 countries ( Morocco, Spain and Portugal) within 2 hours max of each other . Closer than between NYC and Dallas or Dallas and Miami .

I felt that the world cup in 2030 should've been in Argentina, Chile, Paraguay, And Uruguay. First off why was Chile left out? Secondly I have an idea (which I doubt FIFA is going to go with), I've sent FIFA two different emails. One in January and one in September, about the 100th anniversary of the FIFA world cup for this edition alone to have 100 teams. Invite every single teams that ever qualified throughout history including the four that never qualified but participated in the football/soccer tournament in the 1920's summer Olympics (Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia in 1924, and Luxembourg both in 1924 and 1928.), since FIFA itself organized them (that's why Uruguay have two extra stars since they won both of those tournaments). Allow North and South Koreas to be one team (since they've done it at the FIFA u-20 in 1991), and Northern and Republic of Ireland as one team also (since they also do it in cricket, and rugby league/union world cups). That would be a total of 81 teams invited (unless new ones emerged in 2026). For now 19 spots would be open for a world wide intercontinental qualifiers starting in September 2027 thru November 2029 for the remaining 128 teams that never qualified. I call it the mother and father of all world championships! But like I mentioned in the beginning, I doubt FIFA would take note from a nobody like me. Craig Burley is right about them they're becoming an organization that nobody stating not to like. Personally they should had stayed with 32 teams and let Oceania have one or two spots (since there are 6 confederations, but one can't have an automatic spot?), and take 2 spots away from UEFA (since they get 13-15 spots), and let the defending champions qualify automatically, with one nation hosting. They really disappoint me with giving Spain, Portugal, and Morocco the majority of the hosting in 2030. I know a lot of people out there are going to disagree with me on some of these but that's fine. FIFA is like a corporation that has no loyalty to it's fans. It's always about getting the most money out there. They can't let UEFA skip hosting a world cup no more than 8-12 years.

Marking the 100th anniversary isn't an excuse to give countries the hosting. They give them 3 matches which you should be happy about otherwise they had no chance standing against Spain Morocco and Portugal

This is a bone to please us and humiliating that we get 3 matches in South America while the Europeans get the basically that whole tournament! 100 years have passed and the tournament should have been where the first edition was held. Why should be happy if this is what we get because I don’t see where I am supposed to glad that we got bead crumbs and that FIFA has ruined the legacy of World Cup centenario as it being a European and African affair with 3 games nobody will care about when they remember the 2030 World Cup.

@4:54 the World Cup was NEVER in Saudi Arabia. Same region but not the same country. Saudi Arabia is different from Qatar just like the UAE is. Qatar and UAE might be so small you might think it’s apart of Saudi Arabia but they are it’s own entity governed by themselves. It decided it was unwilling to do the hard part of being in Europe and has doomed itself to falling behind Poland economically. Without London it's poorer than the state of Mississippi. Brexit was largely a reaction to immigration from other European labor, that the country now badly needs. Does that sound European?
